We visited on a Thursday evening around 7:30PM staying in Oak Ridge for the night. Kids wanted to do a all you can eat buffet. The restaurant is kind of what you would expected for a Asian all you can eat buffet. The price for what we got was pretty hard to beat. There were a large number of Asian-American foods to pick from. They had a sushi bar area which had a decent selection of rolls. A little over a dozen. Although as we got closer to closing the selection dropped significantly so don't go too late. There was also a hibachi grill area where the kids got to pick their own ingredients which they enjoyed. The desserts were okay and as to be expected. The highlight for me was the ice cream which was brand name in tubs that you scoop yourself. I also missed it as it was hidden at the end of the buffet behind the dessert area. They had chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel and some coffee flavor. All delicious. If we lived in town we could see ourselves eating here every so often as like a treat or something. If we were to pass through Oak Ridge again we would definitely be stopping by. Best buffet anywhere close to Knoxville. Large selection and run more like a cafeteria. Great selection of Asian staples and American home style favorites. Food is refreshed often, stays hot/cold and consistent flavors. This is also the cleanest buffet we've found, with staff constantly wiping down counters and cleaning up spills quickly. Sushi is pretty good and made fresh with many options including sashimi. Habichi is good but could use more vegetable options. Fridays can get busy so the experience suffers a little but overall a great option for all tastes. Service is always good and this remains our families "go to" buffet. Only improvements might be more variety on weekly specials (it's been sweet and sour pork for months) and removing graffiti from the men's bathroom. The women's is fine.
