In a word, authentic. The atmosphere is a special delight, especially for this area. You will not experience hospitality of superior quality anywhere else in Post Falls. If the picture doesn't speak for itself, the food is superb. Do yourself a favor and experience the service for yourself! I don’t ever post reviews, ever. But this deserved a review. I’d give a zero if able to do so. I grew up here, and used to come here all the time and always loved it. I haven’t been here in years, so I recently ordered to go. Pictures is what I received. Which the General’s chicken was 20 dollars itself. Not abnormal, but it wasn’t even a quarter of the way full. Maybe a quarter full. I called them as I was returning back to work, as I thought they made a mistake (I order Asian type food all the time and have never had it this empty before, the boxes are usually pretty full since your paying so much. The lady answered telling me that they put 14-15 pieces of chicken in there. Sometimes 16. I was baffled, and she really wasn’t sure what to say, so she got someone else on the phone to help, which she wasn’t any help at all. She was almost rude and annoyed that I called. So, in all, they literally charge over a dollar for small pieces of overcooked, rough and hard chicken with the smallest box of white rice possible. My other order was a lunch special, the little pieces of white spread across is chicken. It’s literally soggy…..Watered down cheap processed lunch meat. I didn’t even attempt to eat it. I asked originally for veggie fried rice since I do not eat pork and was told I had to get chicken or pork. There are no veggies in their “fried rice” I could have done without the nasty pieces of chicken on the rice, honestly. They told me to drive back with the food for a refund, which I was at work so unable to do so. It went in the garbage since it was beyond disgusting and not really edible. This place has gone way downhill, especially for the prices they charge. I am beyond disappointed on not only the food but lack of customer service. I do NOT recommend you spend your money here, unless you want to be highly disappointed. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

Most of the time I don't comment on prices, but these are out of control. I ordered Combination Dinner 8 $22.95 ($29 after tax and tip). This is way overpriced! The food quality was all average, as was the atmosphere. The service was excellent but did not justify the price. It's no wonder they don't post prices on their website. Been going here since i was born 23 years ago. This place absolutely slaps. Best food in town and it always has been. If you can’t afford the prices you don’t deserve the quality and speed at which the food comes out the pass. Never had a bad experience and the food has been consistent for as long as i can remember. This was a while ago but the experience still just doesn’t sit right with me. : I placed an over the phone order for a large egg soup and a side of almond chicken, I had the flu and just wanted something warm I could pop in grab. They wouldn’t tell me the price when I was on the phone. I came to pick up and they had three large bags of food for me. She had already taken my card and was trying to charge me $180 for three bags of food that I did not order. When I told them I only ordered two items one woman started loudly yelling at me calling me a thief and a liar in front of the whole restaurant telling everyone I was trying to steel from her, until another girl made her go to the back. That girl apologized and gave me my soup and chicken. Honestly it was incredibly embarrassing and I threw the food away in the gas station parking lot because they held my card for ten minutes while they remade made my food in the back while that woman continued to yell from back there. I was really shaken up from the whole experience, especially having to sit on the bench while everyone in the restaurant was looking at me. I have never experienced anything like that in my life. Extremely expensive and they hide their prices. It’s a scam. The food is regular junk American Chinese. We ordered 3 things off of the menu, one of them being a kids meal. My husband forgot to ask how much it was going to cost, but we did not expect anything over $60. We ordered a dinner combo, egg foo young, and a kids meal. It was $92. The waitress there are lovely. We are from Seattle and are very picky about Chinese food. This is the best we have found. We travel from Plummer just to eat here. GREAT JOB GOLDEN DRAGON! To start off the table was so wet we had to wipe it down with a bunch of napkins so our clothes didn't get wet then the bench was bumpy like sitting on rocks. The dinner combinations priced at $20 to $27 and all except 2 had chow mein and if you look at the small print that is crunchy noodles. It's a $6 add on charge (We had to ask its not on the menu) if you want lo mein soft noodles or "house chow mein"instead of the crunchy junk. The plates were small and and the "house noodles" where the chewiest , hardest noodles I have ever had.The rice was greasy and the sweet and sour sauce was like brown gravy. Oh and the water glasses were so stained and looked like they were from a second hand restaurant that closed in 1985.I couldn't even tell if my water was clean.
