The food was very fresh, rolls were soft, hot and buttery. The tenders were juicy and crispy on the outside. Roasted chicken was bold and flavourful. The customer service had the hometown country feel that was comfortable and inviting. The restaurant was exceptionally well kept and very clean bathrooms. Last week was my first time at a Golden Chick and I can safely say with confidence that I would be perfectly happy if all the KFCs in the US were replaced with a Golden Chick 😆 Their catfish was surprisingly good. I guess I was expecting an overcooked dried up shriveled piece of fish, but instead I got the most moist fried fish I have ever had at a fast food joint. On top of that, their rolls were amazing! Pretty solid fast food chicken. Food came out fast, chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, biscuit was delicious, green beans looked much browner than the picture. Drive through order. For the price you might as well go to Mary's in town. I paid the extra for an unsweetened tea, it was bad. Got home to eat and my roll was doughy. Everything is out of stock, new items as well not available. The ice cream machine is out as well. The Tvs don't work, no ice in the coke machine just want up to date. We decided to check this place out tonight. It is under new ownership who is an awesome young man. He greeted his customers with enthusiasm and respect. His parents were there supporting him and we had a chance to talk to his mom and expressed how they raised a truly decent and compassionate young man. The chicken I ordered was hot and juicy. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more salt, and I am not a big salt user, and maybe some garlic, but then again I am old enough that my taste buds are not how they use to be. Please give this place a try to support this wonder business!

Food was typical Golden Chick quality, which we love. Dining room was dirty. Every table was dirty and we were the only customers in the dining room. The young boy that took our order seemed bothered by the fact that we were there. And sadly it wasn't our service that was bad. It was the service of another customer after us. A young man came in to order food. The same cashier stepped up to take his order while eating an Ice cream cone as if the customer was interrupting him. Then the customer asked for his order for dine in and the kitchen packed it up to go. The customer told them he wanted it for dine in and the boy from the kitchen literally said, 'what, you can't eat it out of a box?' The young staff is lazy and rude and disrespectful.
