Gay Nineties has been here for decades and gets top marks as the downtown family pub & pizza joint. Some of there better dishes include prawns provincial and their cob salad! I think those can compete with the much higher priced haut cuisine downtown, but their bread & butter is their bread and butter, that is their french bread and pizza crust, very delicious! And if you need a place for a bigger family or team gathering, it’s the place to go for inside or beer garden seating. Also they have Stella on tap, which is my favorite. I grew up in Pleasanton and absolutely love gay 90s pizza. Sadly I returned to the Bay Area for the first time in a few years for my mother‘s funeral. After which we had everyone get together at gay 90s for pizza because my mom loved it there. The staff was very friendly, warm and accommodating. It was exactly what we needed it to be. I’m very happy with the service and I’m very grateful that they provided a space. As a sidenote, I went to high school with Connor and I am really happy to see that he is still running such a great restaurant. Keep up the good work guys.
