We normally enjoy our meals here. However, the kitchen staff did not pay attention to the order AND tried to cover it up and pull a fast one. Ordered an enchilada plate with chili gravy instead of normal enchilada sauce. Brought this to the attention of the server, and they took the plate and returned the same plate with chili gravy over the enchilada sauce. Not a good look Garcia's. Get to eight the first time or own the mistake and correct it. Trying to literally "cover it up" is not good business. All that said, food is always good but the service on this one was very subpar. My first visit and it left a very good first impression. Jasmine was the best! I had the cheese enchilada dinner which was awesome, the chips were very crispy and salsa was perfect.

Always my #1 favorite 😍 spot. They never disappoint. And if they do. They make it up. Love the service me and my family get. They always welcome us. All my kids have a favorite here. First time visiting this place and most likely the last, when it comes to service it’s really important for me and my family to feel welcomed and comfortable while enjoying our meal. Starting when we entered the place and we were put on a table in the center of the restaurant , place was full and honestly everything was too close for me, people walking to close to my table and I just didn’t like it , so we requested to be moved to a table that was empty on the corner of the place and they refused because “they didn’t want to move the service” that was a huge disappointment for us. Service was poor , when it was time to order I saw on the menu the enchiladas that could be beef or chicken and I ordered enchiladas but the waitress did not asked if we preferred chicken or beef so we told her we would prefer beef and she said it was just chicken for enchiladas that beef was just for regulars. I wouldn’t mind this at all if I would have been told from the beginning and with a good attitude . Food was not bad but not the one that is making me go back! Service definitely not the best and I think they could do better or put some good vibes at least. I have never been on this position and for me to write a review means it really made me have a bad experience. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place is a classic. First time here to the very first location. I couldn't remember when I had been in a Garcia's, so I did some research while I waited for my meal. I used to eat in the Buda location on Main St. while dating a woman there. I remember it being excellent. This place was super as well. First time coming here, and we were extremely happy with everything. From the server, Mariana, to the food. The fajita nachos were very good, and the serving was so much larger than expected. In general, we enjoyed our first trip to Garcia's. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and our server accommodated our "salsa problem" (basically, we believe salsa should be its own food category, or at least reclassified as a "soup"). At any rate, the chips and salsa were constantly refilled for us, but the salsa was just okay. It tastes good, but there is definitely nothing unique about it, and they chose to stay on the conservative side, regarding the amount of spice (unfortunate... we're in TX!) My simple taco plate was great. I really enjoyed it. My wife's fajita salad, however, was honestly pretty bland. The chicken either needs to marinate longer, or more seasoning needs to be used before it can be called "fajita" chicken. Again, great service. Also, great guacamole. Everything else was standard TexMex.

I ordered 4 breakfast tacos over the phone to the cost of $20. Two guisada tacos $5 each and I asked for 2 potato and bean tacos. I got charged for 2 potato tacos ($2.75 each) add beans ($1 each). In the first place I've never heard of just plain potato tacos, so why would I be charged for one? The tortillas they wrapped them in were the smallest I've ever eaten, so I barely got any beans to begin with, no cilantro, no cheese, or anything was on any of the tacos like most restaurants offer. The food wasn't that good, not seasoned well at all. It was bad enough they were over priced, I'm very disappointed with what I paid for. This place is usually very busy, so I was quite surprised at the food quality. We love Mexican restaurants and frequent them often. We won't visit this one again.
