The town’s most famous bakery and culinary destination. They’re most well-known for its srikaya jam, ranging in size from a small cup that cost Rp. 15,000 to a larger jar for Rp. 30,000. They also sell the bread filled with their srikaya jam if you want to try it immediately. The place is packed throughout the day although there is a second shop in Jl. Kartini if you want to avoid all the crowds. They don’t open any other shops outside of Siantar.

Such a very big place to sell legendary bread in Pematang Siantar. We arrived here early in the morning, no queue. Price is also reasonable. You could try other snacks provided in the shop, the local ones. Very well known for its srikaya jam. There are two options: jammed or separated. Jammed bread only lasts for 2 days, the latter could last till max 5 days.

We travel from Perlanaan (Perdagangan).Supposed to arrive there in about 45 minutes.Due to a bad situation on the main road, we are able to reach there about 3 hours later. Anyway, the bread is normal (nothing special for us) but there is a person who takes advantage of it by selling a face mask with a higher price outside the store (wearing a facemask while entering here is compulsory)..

It's a famous bakery I think from 30 years ago. Things have changed and I think you can get what they offer everywhere these days. I wouldn't say it tastes better but it does have a different feel to it being an old bakery probably with old recipees. It can be a plus, or a negative, depends on how you want to see it.

One of the most popular and icon bakery shop in Pematang Siantar, mostly for the chocolate meises and srikaya bread (usually 1 packages 10 pieces of bread). Also sells ice cream, various cakes, traditional cakes, etc. Always crowded. Recommended as food souvenirs.

Whenever I visit Sumut, Pematang Siantar is a must city to be included. Then, Roti Ganda becomes my top of mind culinary preferences due its nostalgic & delicious foods!

The most iconic bread shop in Siantar city. You may get very crowd and long queue in this bread shop. You are not considered as visiting Siantar city before you visit this bread shop! LoL
