A very happy and cozy place on the beach of Kendwa. Food is amazing, very good quality price balance.
They serve fresh fish (straight from the fisherman that park their boats in front of the restaurant). My favourite choice was seafood curry, amazing!
In my days in Kendwa I went several times and I was always very happy with both food and service.

Amazing beach actually the best and we sow lots of places! You can walk from Faraha to Mama Mia it's like 4 kilometers and ond the way you can stop for dip in beautiful clean worm waters or have lunch or drinks it's also most beautiful place for sunset too .

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Furaha Beach Bar & Restaurant in Kendwa, Zanzibar and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience there. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home.
The location of Furaha Beach Bar & Restaurant is absolutely stunning, situated right on the beach with breathtaking views of the crystal-clear water and sandy shores. This alone sets the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.
Speaking of meals, the food at Furaha Beach Bar & Restaurant is simply incredible. I was blown away by the freshness and quality of the ingredients used in every dish. Each bite was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared by the talented team of chefs. Whether I was indulging in traditional Zanzibar cuisine or trying out their international dishes, everything was delicious.
In addition to the food, the drinks menu at Furaha Beach Bar & Restaurant was equally impressive. The bartenders are skilled in concocting tasty cocktails and mocktails, and they even offer a variety of local and imported beers. I highly recommend trying their signature cocktails and soaking in the stunning views as you sip on your drink.
What truly sets Furaha Beach Bar & Restaurant apart is the outstanding customer service. The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure my experience was nothing short of perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and always willing to cater to any special requests I had.
Overall, I cannot recommend Furaha Beach Bar & Restaurant enough. It is truly a hidden gem in Kendwa, Zanzibar and it exceeded all of my expectations. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, refreshing drinks, or a relaxing day at the beach, this is the place to be. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Zanzibar.

We found this place by checking the stars and the reviews. Overall, it was a great experience, but the WiFi didn't work. Given the price and how touristy it is, they should have their wifi working. Even the local restaurants in Kendwa have great wifi :)
Anyway, the food was very tasty and great portions. They charge quite a bit for waters (TNZ 2k for medium bottle) which isn't nice but hey this is Zanzibar.
I would recommend this place for sure. Come in the evening and see the sunset :) great views.

Very relaxing atmosphere with very sweet people. The prices are good and the quality of food very good. We went 2 nights in the raw and the third we went for a cocktail. One of the most relaxing places in Kendwa from my point of view.

Definitely the highlight of my stay in Zanzibar. The food is AMAZING, the staff from owner to manager to waiters are the sweetest I’ve ever met. I’ll miss this place so much.
