Great food and warm people. What more can you ask for. We needed a pick me up after a long car journey towards Yala park and this was just right. The kottu roti we had was made fresh and tasted great. We had a coffee and an EGB (ginger beer) and it only came to 690 rupees (around £2.50).

We asked a passerby for a recommendation for rice and curry after arriving in Tissa after a long bus journey, and they recommended this place. The rice and the selection of vegetable curries was excellent and very cheap! We also had some delicious lime juice to help with the spiciness. Had late dinner at 9pm and the crew was friendly and fast. I ate egg kotu and a vegetable roti. Was delicious and the portion was BIG. Price was super easy (egg kotu 400 + roti 100) I think it’s fair! Good address
