I would rate this location a 5+ for the food alone, but the staff went above and beyond catering for my daughter’s wedding this weekend! They are genuinely a great group of people who made me feel 100% comfortable that the food and service would be amazing! They did not disappoint at all!! We are beyond grateful!! Excellent food and service! We had a large group (adults and kids) yet they took the time to ask and hear what the kids wanted on their orders. We appreciate their kindness. I ordered the low carb tortilla with vegan chorizo and cauliflower rice... so good! We enjoyed our lunch at Freebirds today. The restaurant was clean, the service was friendly and helpful. While we were eating we had a staff member come by and check on us to make sure we were doing ok and didn’t need anything. The temperature in the restaurant was great and it wasn’t too loud, so we were able to carry on a conversation without having to shout over music. The food was delicious and I was as glad the staff mentioned the new low carb tortilla. We are looking forward to going back again. I appreciate and notice things like a clean table, bathroom or floors when eating out lately. It seems like it is getting harder and harder to find that, especially at quick service restaurants. First and probably last experience here. Did not enjoy this place at all. Ordered a bowl and the way they skimped on the food is insane. Rice, beans, meat all were tiny in portion size. Almost like a kids dish. I complain about Chipotle but at least I can eat and also have leftovers. Staff was nice was definitely will not be back. Hate that I like this food sometimes. Just paid $26 for a burrito just because I put double meat on it. These guys have lost their way, remember when it was way better priced. No where charges that much for the same thing. If I want to spend that much, usually go to Lupe Tortilla or somewhere where you get even better quality food in larger portions. Also I know people have the whole Freebirds vs Chipotle thing but at least Chipotles staying successful and sticking to their roots price wise. I’d pay half there for what I just got here. Not sure if they need the money or their head’s that far up their butt they think it’s worth the price. We already have an increase with everything else, disappointed in these guys. I tried the lacation in the Woodlands because the location in Conroe is horrible. I arrived and had to wait in line 6 1/2 mins to get served. They had an insufficient number of workers. I ordered a steak monster, and they were out of steak. Had to wait an additional 8 mins. till the steak was ready. I ordered 2 monsters, and they said that they had to do them one at a time. However, I've had other workers in the past at other FreeBirds prepare 2 at the same time. I was misled. The food was cold by the time I got it home. Another sad day at FreeBirds. Freebirds is similar to Chipotle. The food is decent and I am not sure if they all do this but the guy rolling the burrito made them look perfect, it was amazing! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
