Finished showing property in Mammoth, Ash Flat etc and wanted to treat myself! I haven’t eaten here in years. Everything was really good! Fresh and hot, just like I remembered! I had the 21 pc shrimp dinner with a baked potato, hush puppies, Cole slaw, pickle and onion. Sweet tea was really good too! Staff was attentive and everything was clean. This is one of the best catfish places I've ever been to. The catfish had a very clean taste and the breading is just right. The unsweet tea is excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Liked the broil shrimp but asked for it to be more Cajun style. It wasn't so I had to ask for some old bay seasoning. Wasn't happy with the Philly steak and cheese. But service was great. Slow night. It's been a while since dining in this particular Fred's. Only been he once before and clearly was not as good as the one in Mountain Home. I have to be honest the food was very, very good. Mixed review, waiting a while for our food, even others around us who came in after got theirs. Waitress was friendly and that help out at least. My family was been coming here for years when we visit nearby Cherokee Village. Just a good small town restaurant with good fried fish, friendly service.
