A friend and I tried this place on a Friday night. It is definitely set up for small groups of 2 or 3, it seems like they are more of a breakfast/brunch place than a wine bar, but that doesn’t mean we were disappointed.
We shared a warm frisée and lardon salad and the autumn tartine with a couple glasses of wine. It was a great combo that I recommend, but the star was the Tartine with kabocha squash and greens. We ended with a pluot and pear tarte that was also delicious.
I’d like to see what it is like in the morning for comparison. There were some delicious looking croissants and quiches we could see from our seats at the bar.

Veggie Tartine
Quiche , steel cut oats , salmon tartine, rooibis honey bush tea and hot chocolate 🍫 and a good amount of food for a reasonable price. A great location across from the barn. Modern and hip with a friendly and nice staff.
Street parking.
Everything is so good! The butterfly 🦋 tea makes a lovely addition to the menu .

Sat down for an espresso and walnut croissant.
The espresso was nicely prepared, I'd cross a bridge and county to have another one.
The walnut croissant was just right, good walnut flavor and not too sweet or over toasty.
I'm excited to learn how much more care and thought the staff has put into this place.

I have visited this location twice since my review below, and unfortunately both experiences were uncomfortable. The food and drinks were good however it feels like the barista taking orders doesn't like customers. She was pretty unwelcoming and borderline rude. I'll be giving them some time before I return. Disappointing because it was a favorite place for me to visit near home in West Sac.

Absolutely lovely French Bistro. Food and espresso drinks were above par. Cozy atmosphere, good parking. This place is great for West Sacramento. They also serve wine but I visited at 9 am so I can't attest to how good it is, but I feel like it's amazing 😆

Absolute diamond in the rough. Amazing quiche and walnut croissant was to die for. Food homade on-site fresh and service was 5 stars. Chef took the time to chat with us on how the food is made, ingredients and care that goes into the effort. Amazing.

Arrived hopeful - left disappointed (again). First time commenting.
I really want this place to work out, so I hope the owner/manager will take these comments into consideration. This was for a lunchtime visit, at ~20% capacity.
-Atmosphere. It's very cold inside: seats, plates, tables, everything. I understand maybe heating is expensive, but at least put a cookie in the oven, or turn on a scented candle to make it seem like something is cooking/baking. It doesn't feel cozy/welcoming.
-Decoration. Please clean/rinse out out your fresh flower vases/jars. They are moldy, and it's not great to look at floaties/sinkies while I'm trying to eat.
-Seats, table, surrounding floor. There are crumbs everywhere. It would add a positive note to the place if it was clean when I sat down.
-Coffee drinks. Quality seems good, but please ask cashier to offer sugar/sweeter/milk, or have it easily accessible to us. Not everyone likes it plain.
-Food. (this was for the quiche dish). Nicely presented, but came out tepid, and cooled rapidly (probably b/c everything around it was cold). Please make salt/pepper easily accessible; it shouldn't be a chore to the staff to have to go and pour some out into a serving thimble. Excellent food doesn't need to be seasoned - this was not. Unfortunately it was rather bland, and crust a bit soggy.
If you are going to bill yourself as a French-style place, you really need to pay attention to some simple details and take it up a notch.

Lovely little wine and French cafe located in West Sacramento near Sutter Health Park. They have three different menus, breakfast, brunch, and lunch/dinner. The taste and quality of the food is excellent. They also have a very nice coffee menu and an excellent wine bar. For such a small location it feels very open and light. You order at the counter and find a place to sit either at the wine bar or indoors, or you can go outdoors. The ratatouille was excellent - rich with flavors. They also have a happy hour!

The place itself looks nice and great for a sunny day. Nice atmosphere in it and great service.
I ordered "Croque Madame". It looked great but there was too much Dijon Mustard in it. The only things I could taste were the mustard's sourness and a bit of spiciness. I couldn't taste jambon or egg or the bread. Less mustard, please 😅
