Having seen Pulaski Square, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Immerse yourself in stunning Italian cuisine here. You can order nicely cooked mushroom ravioli, Italian sandwiches and parmigiana. A lot of guests say that waiters serve good tiramisu, gelato and cheesecakes here. Don't miss the opportunity to drink delicious beer, marsala or liqueur. You will appreciate great espresso at Frali Gourmet. This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices here are reported to be democratic. You will definitely like the pretty atmosphere and terrific decor. This spot is ranked 4.7 within the Google grading system.

I made reservations as this place is tiny. 4 meals. The pasta was fresh and hand made. Fettuccine and tortellini was delicious. The Alfredo sauce was good. However the 2 ravioli meals left me sad. The shrimp and the dried tomato ravioli were both hard and both only lightly tossed in the sauce. I thought the sauce might be the star of the show but I barely had enough to coat the ravioli and I couldn't really taste the lobster sauce. The ravioli filling was skimpy. The dessert they sold was delicious both the creme Brule and the amaretto cream was perfectly flavored. The place seemed family run and the place had an old world homely feel. They also have an area that shelves take home versions of the products they use/sell. The wait staff could have been a bit more attentive and management probably should have been making rounds to the small patron area. I will go back for the fresh pasta and to try (hopefully) some of the dozen different sauces they offer. I must apologize for not taking pictures of the pasta, it didn't constitute a picture as the plates came out less than desired which didn't evoke enough joy or wow to do so even though the camera was on and ready. Came to downtown Savannah to try this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. Situated on a corner on West Liberty, it appeared authentic and our expectations were high as the menu boasted home-made pasta and mozzarella. We had the Moscato; a very small pour for $8. They brought an appetizer of fresh bread and roasted pepper dip, which was nice. The dip had a delicate flavor. We tried the Caprice salad; four thin slices of tomato, mozzarella, drizzled with pesto, evo and balsamic vinegar reduction. While it was tasty, the mozzarella was firmer and drier than we expected for fresh home-made. Also, for $10, we expected more than four slices. We tried the taglioni with marscapone cream sauce and sausage. The sauce was thin, like water thin, and dusted with dried grated Parmesan ~ but no flavor. The crumbled sausage tasted like sausage you'd use to make biscuits and gravy ~ not Italian. The Il Umbrio sandwich was . . . half a sandwich for $12.50. Hot and crunchy, the cheese was thin and barely able to be tasted. After spending $50 for an authentic Italian grandma lunch, we left HUNGRY! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Great place, with excellent home made pasta and sauces. Service was quick in spite of being slammed because a concert was about to start nearby. Had the meatballs also, which were terrific. Will definitely go again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fresh Pasta

Being from a family that owned an Italian Deli it is great to see a neighborhood place like this with scratch-made pasta/Italian food. It’s part small market, but mostly a place with tables to enjoy the food fresh. The red sauce tasted like grandma’s and the sage butter sauce was aromatic and perfect with their homemade pappardelle. Great prices and portions too. You are now on my “must-eat” list when in town. Eat here and say “grazi” later! As an Italian-American who grew up on amazing Italian food, I usually disappointed when dining in an Italian restaurant. I have been to FraLi twice and the food and service are excellent. My only critique is that both times I was overwhelmed with the smell of cleaning product (Pine Sol?) while eating and that definitely impacts the experience. I switch to something less pungent would allow me to give 5 stars on Atmosphere as well. You need to try this hidden gem! The BEST pasta I have ever tasted and I have traveled to many different places. The cheesecake was so decadent. The two waiters were so friendly and helpful Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fresh Pasta
Apparently this is a hot spot for those going to events at Johnny Mercer Theater. We managed to get the last unreserved table and are glad of it. The hot paninis were delicious and just right for a light dinner. I am definitely going back to try the pastas as they looked and smelled like heaven when delivered to neighboring tables. Frali is a true hidden gem family owned Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy - they have less than 10 tables and sell fresh pasta and sauces as well. Pasta was fresh, light, cooked perfectly and just the right portion. Best pasta I’ve had in a long time or maybe ever. Just be sure to check their hours. My girlfriend and I just finished eating at this restaurant and I now know why they have the 4.7 stars. The food was absolutely delightful and their service was top notch. My girlfriend has a dairy allergy and they were super helpful in guiding her choose what she wanted without dairy and going back and forth to the chef and back to make sure the things she wanted didn't have dairy. We both highly recommend this place to anyone who wants great tasting food with amazing service. Thank you for your help today. 🙏 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
