I can highly recommend you visit whenever in Tupelo. These folks take extreme pride in their craft. They provide an excellent experience from start to finish. The service is always exceptional, the bartender is a master at his art, and the food staff are always on point. They provide an array of flavor complexities that never disappoint, and mesh so very well together. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed, and it's worth every penny. I was in town visiting and stopped by due to the good reviews. I ordered the corn and crab soup and it was barely room temp and had to waive the waitress down to request it be warmed Up. It tasted how it looks - like puréed veggie soup with some mayo mixed with corn and crab on top. It was not good and I barely had any. My mom’s nachos were not good either. Waitress did not apologize or empathize about the food but seemed annoyed with our dissatisfaction. Great atmosphere but food wasn’t good and service was lackluster. Will not be returning. We are new to the area. Absolutely loved the duck and rabbit entrees! They have a trendy atmosphere and cocktail menu as well. I enjoyed my visit. Our server, Denzel, was also on the game. Went out on for date night. My lamb was great but he kept getting bits of dirt flavor on his scallops like they weren't cleaned properly. When we arrived the place was empty and we were jammed into the bar. Outside would have been nice. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with our attire? Jeans and a flannel? I hope not? Inside you could watch a kids birthday party in a plexiglass window room while the bartender struggled to hear customers. Food was tiny and it varies greatly from plate to plate from what I saw in proportion. Not sure if we just ordered super small entrees. Delicious food and a great vibe! The service was very friendly and we were well taken care of. We had the Voodoo Tots and got the Oxtail gravy on the side, which I think was a good idea because then the tots stayed super crispy the whole time. They were AMAZING! We also had the Beet Salad, a large, which had golden beets and was super good. Did not visually seem to be a big portion but we split it with other food so it wasn't a problem. I would not order it as a main though. We also ordered a new soup they had, Street Corn Bisque. Really yummy! Did not really like the Seafood Soup though, tasted like barbeque? And for dessert we had their Banana Pudding Cake which was honestly fan-tas-tic. Great place! I was there for lunch. They has one person working the floor. It took over an hour to get in and out. I had blackened catfish, mashed potatoes, and cheese grits. The grits were the star of this show. This place has been one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in the states so far. I've been cycling across the states from Canada on my own food tour and this is a spot worth checking out. Had the chicken greens sandwich on the waiters recommendation, had the Bellini sips sour beer and a peach jalapeno margarita. Might have been the best Marg I've had in the states so far. Good stuff. Can’t applaud this place enough. Hit everything for me. Environment, service, food (cocktails, appetizer, salad, entree, & desert). My new favorite place in North MS. I got Buffalo quail, voodoo tots, beet salad, steelhead trout, and banana pudding cake. For cocktails honeysuckle martini, pomegranate martini, & a berry drink that slips my mind on the name. Not a thing I did not enjoy. My partner that typically does not venture out on trying new things loved his meal, as well. The kitchen team truly cares about every dish they put out and you can tell. Our server was so charismatic and knowledgeable of the menu. Several things I have never tried so I cannot wait to come back for those and seasonal specials. We stopped by during a road trip and loved our experience. Denzel provided phenomenal service. He was kind and answered our many questions. We had the buffalo quail and rockfish specials.
