Right after seeing Richardson-Bates House Museum, come here for a meal. If you want to try Chinese meals, get your chance and visit this restaurant. Food Chow City may please you with tasty hot & sour soup, beef and fried wontons. Food delivery is an important advantage of this place. The efficient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Cool service is something guests agree upon here. Prices at this spot claim to be affordable. It's a nice place with the charming atmosphere. Based on the visitors' feedback on Google, this restaurant deserved 4.

My daughter's and I got so sick from salmonella after eating the boneless spare ribs. This is not the first time I've felt sick after eating here unfortunately. We loved this restaurant once so decided to give it another chance and we got salmonella. Food: 1

Ordered from them because I was sick and didn't want to go out and they deliver unlike the other Chinese places. I ordered Hot & Sour soup, got egg drop instead, but I was going to eat anyways thinking it wouldn't be worth the trouble to try to get them to replace it. Took one bite, soup was rotten (and barely warm, so I assume it was left sitting out ). I was almost afraid to try the entrees...they weren't rotten at least, but it wasn't the Hunan beef or General Tso's chicken we ordered - there wasn't the slightest bit of spice to either dish and I couldn't even figure out what the chicken was supposed to be. It was closer to Sweet & Sour than General Tso's but it was just sour, not sweet at all and definitely not spicy. After the soup, I was worried that the sour taste was due to spoilage rather than being poorly prepared, so I threw it away after one bite. Crab rangoons were all cream cheese and no crab. On the plus side they actually do deliver and the prices are very reasonable, but I'd rather order pick-up and not have questionable food. UPDATE: Fast forward three years, we decided to give them another try in hopes that our first experience was just a bad night. Once again, we received cold soup (it was the correct kind this time, but it was sour without the slightest bit of "hot"). Lo mein was bland and mushy. Spring rolls were excellent, and egg foo young was pretty decent, but the sauce was on the bland side. Still no crab in the crab rangoon, they were just cream cheese wontons. Delivery guy was friendly & fast, so no complaints there, but for food taste and quality I'll stick to KQ or Dragon City from now on. Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5
Food was steaming hot on pick up which was nice. But crab rangoons? Just deep fried cream cheese. Zero crab in there. It doesn’t even taste like crab. Just cream cheese in a wonton wrapper. Was also missing the mushu shell and sauce. Service Take out Meal type Dinner

Food was okay but definitely not Chinese, it was just regular chicken covered in fake sauce it just didn't taste right, it didn't taste like what I usually get at other Chinese places, kinda like when you would go to the school cafeteria and they were serving orange chicken. Other then at service was good I just wouldn't recommend it as a good Chinese places... Service Take out Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Spent $38 for 2 orders of general tso combo (1 with pork fried rice, 1 with veg. Rice), 2 orders of crab ragoons and fried dumplings. The chicken looks as if the take Tyson nuggets and throw them around in sauce. Legit looked like buffalo sauce but I smelled it and knew it wouldn't be general tso but hoped for something Similar. Tasted like a sweetened buffalo sauce. Their veggie fried rice wasn't bad until I found a wavy brown/black hair in it. The fried "dumplings" are seriously the equivalent of the hot dogs wrapped in crescent roll, just more "dumpling" like breading. The crab ragoons were mediocre. Definitely not the worst I've had but far from the best. Seriously upset and disappointed I drove 20 minutes and paid $40 for food I can't even stomach. Also, no fortune cookies but that's whatever. I do have to say that the staff when ordering and picking up were very friendly. However, we will certainly not be returning ever again. I'd rather drive 40 minutes to Auburn or Elbridge for some decent chinese food.
Food was Disgusting. Under cooked. RAW & made my pregnant sister sick as hell and the owner said it was her fault the food was under cooked and THEN refused a refund. Don’t eat here Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
