Fantastic location, great viewing, garment coffee, tasty dessert and friendly staff. You can see nearly half of Malta island from to open rooftop. Disappointing experience… we decided to come here because it came highly recommended but already got disappointed while ordering. A lot of options were already not available anymore and it wasn’t even 2PM. After ordering the wait was kind of long, there were 4 of us and the food came at 3 different times. One person was already done before the drinks and the other plates came. The chicken & gammon baguette was very disappointing and pizza is comparable to Domino’s pizza. Vegan hummus wrap was good. Crepe was overpriced. We would definitely recommend to skip this place if you’re looking to try local food. Only reason to come here is the view, which is actually beautiful. Situated in an incredible spot on the fort's wall with a small cosy courtyard. Seating is available on the wall, outside as well as in glass rooms. Usually very busy. Staff was friendly, service quick, prices average for this tourist area. Food quality good, they have lots of cakes to choose from. 5 Star every single time. I've been several times over the years to this restaurant and the staff are amazing. Always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodate you. Big thanks for getting us a table at short notice with an incredible view over the island which my wife loved (her first visit to Malta). Shout out to all the staff who stood outside in the freezing cold wind but kept us all well fed and watered despite it being alot colder than usual. Look forward to coming back again soon. A very busy place, where you'll most probably be waiting in a line to be seated. The staff is kind and efficient though. The view is nice, but note that you cannot see the sunset. The special/recommended cake is similarly nice. I wouldn't say anything is 'wow, amazing, fantastic!', and you wouldn't miss much by not going here, but if you feel like having a nice chocolate cake or if you feel like sitting down while having a nice view, come here. Don't know what the fuss is about. Yes, the chocolate cake is nice but the staff could do with lessons on how to break a smile! Tea comes with just a pot of water and a tea bag still in the wrapper - make it yourself! Toilet facilities are rubbish. The view is good only if you manage to sit in a limited number of places. My bill came to 9.7 euros and they would only accept cash for less than 10 - this was also rubbish. The cashier seemed unhappy in her job. Not recommended.
