What should i say about this beautiful place. It's marvelous. The serene beauty of nature, the hippos all is just beautiful. You can do a camping, born fire, enjoy star gazing, enjoy the sunrise. I have some pics of sunrise clicked and it's just gorgeous. To enjoy that make sure you wake up before sunrise ⛅ and just stroll down towards the lake and enjoy the sun rising above the lake.

Such a wonderful place! First we have seen the hippos and then we had a good dinner here. Service was great, really fast and friendly. The food was not super delicious but good and the prices are fair. So the value for money is excellent. The lake view during dinner with the hippos is unbeatable! We wont forget this experience, thanks a lot 🙌

This place was amazing! Great location, excellent food. Fresh chicken, fresh veggies grilled to perfection, smoothies are made from fresh fruit as well. Beautiful view and great hospitality. Highly recommend.

If there is an option of negative reviews I would give. Food doesn’t come after 2.5 hrs of ordering and we are not the only people complaining the same the very evening. The staff is clueless and when the kitchen manager comes, she’s so rude in saying that we are very busy and if you are in rush please go elsewhere, yet there are only 2 other tables with people in the restaurant. One just having drinks and other table waiting endlessly for the food too! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

It's always a great pleasure to visit Fisherman's. It's a fabulous choice to have a chilled out lunch or drink. You can hire bikes and even go fishing at a reasonable rate. The food is always amazing, but be patient as it takes long to be prepared. Even cocktails take long but they're worth the wait.

Fun place for picnics, boat rides and ofcourse fishing. Boat rides can set you back between kes 1,000/= to about 5,000/= . You can also opt to camp on the premises and choices range from tents , old cars that have been converted to sleeping areas and cottages.

A serenic location to do camping overnight affordable boats safaris starting from 3k. Nice restaurant overlooking the lake but meals take some time before getting ready however the services offered are amazing

One of the worst restaurants - extremely long waits for incredibly average food. Took an hour and a half for breakfast, and 2 and a half hours in the evening. Even then there were mistakes in the order (vegetarians being served meat pizza) and some dishes never arrived. Food was average when it finally did arrive. The scenery of the camp is great, but definitely eat somewhere else if you can. Also not cheap for the amount of time you're waiting.
