This restaurant is a gem! The pizza is authentic and best I’ve ever had so far here in AZ. The tiramisu needs more of the finger cookies and a small shot of expresso to be perfect! The service was over the line mediocre- our waitress took our order and disappeared. We had to ask someone else for our check. Fat Olives Pizzeria absolutely knocked it out of the park! The service from Jacob was top-notch, friendly, and attentive. And the pizza? Absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. What a little gem! I didn't make a reservation, so was told it was 30 mins or sit at the pizza bar. Usually I would wait for a proper table but I'm glad I didn't. The pizza bar was a fun spot to sit on date night and watch all the food get made. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. We started with the artichokes (wow, so good!) then we had the bbq chicken pizza and the belgio dolce pizza. Both were fantastic and unique, and great for lunch the next day. One of the highlights of my meals on this trip through Arizona, thank you! Ps, the people next to us had a very intense food allergy requirement, and the staff were so attentive, and spent a lot of time helping them. The kitchen manager came out and helped build custom, off menu, meals. I was very impressed with their level of dedication to customer satisfaction! Good pizza, savoury, and just right! The specialty lasagna is good too! Tiramisu cup as dessert is a must! Staff is friendly, and mindful, very helpful. Packed for most of the day, so be prepared. Ambient is not so into kids though. High table and bar table is available too. Wow, absolutely amazing! The spaghetti and meatballs 😋 Cheesiest lasagna I've ever tasted. Wife would give 10 stars 🌟 Save room for dessert. Tiramasu was very fluffy and smooth and the creme Brule cheesecake was rich. Place is adorable and service was great. The pizza is amazing! We got the adobada pizza and the meat was so juicy and tender. This is the closest to Italian pizza you’ll get. Pizza sauce is not very seasoned but that’s how they do it in Italy. I will be back every time I happen to be in flagstaff Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you are in the mood for Italian food this is the place to go! This restaurant has a very homey atmosphere with the bricks and artwork on the wall. I was seated at the pizza bar, and I loved seeing the pizzas cook in the oven as well as seeing all of the different dishes being prepared. We started off with a goat cheese bruschetta board while we decided what entrees to order. As soon as I bit down into the first slice I could tell that the food here is in a league of its own. The pistachio flavor was brought out by the honey while taking away the dry feeling that nuts usually leave behind, and the honey was also a great pairing with the feta the same way people put honey in Greek yogurt. We eventually decided to order the Shrimp Fra Diavalo and the Rigatoni with a Caesar salad. When I typically have Caesar salad, I have croutons chunks, so I was curious to see what difference the crushed croutons that this salad came with would make. After mixing it together and taking a bite, I can now say I prefer crushed croutons over the chunks because they were coated on all of the lettuce and added a nice texture while not being overpowered unlike the chunks. Needless to say this is how I will be having my Caesar salads from now on. The entrees did not take too long to come, and they were delicious. Both the rigatoni’s meat and the shrimp tasted excellent and I could tell that very high quality ingredients were used. The shrimp pizza was the perfect combination of flavors. The use of pesto sauce was the perfect blend with the spicy shrimp. Taking a bite of it gave me a combination of pesto, hot sauce, and shrimp that tasted like it was freshly caught. The Rigatoni did not disappoint either, the meat was well-seasoned and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Compared to other restaurants, it is obvious why this one has many accolades. We got seats at the pizza bar right in front of the oven. We got to watch their teamwork in the kitchen and it was amazing. High level communication, respect, and friendships. Our server was very attentive and timed our app, meals, and dessert perfectly. All the food was amazing. Highly suggest the artichoke appetizer. Pizza was spot on. I really liked this food. For my husband it had too much basil. We had shrimp fettuccine and lasagna. The service was pretty good, a little slow. All was well until the bill came. I have included a picture. We weren’t really sure what to make of this and it makes NO SENSE whatsoever! I feel for the servers as they are the ones who will suffer in tips. We didn’t take it out on our server but there will be many who will. This is ridiculous! Figure out what it costs to make a profit and charge that amount!! Enough of the insults! One of the best pasta I had in AZ. Living in Phoenix for a year now, I haven’t had a real rich pesto pasta until now. Sauce was good, noodles are terrific, not too soft but the right amount of chewiness.
