The restaurant atmosphere and feel was great. Food was okay, Waffles were soggy. Coffee could really use an overhaul - Tasted like instant prison coffee. What a cool cafe. A vast menu greets you on the blackboard when entering. Thoroughly enjoyed eating The Fat Dog Works. Rather busy, but the service was excellent. Best coffee in Rotorua. I had the Corned Beef Hash. It was perfectly seasoned, and I liked it better than the usual eggs benedict that you find in most cafes. My wife had the waffles and loved it. Best breakfast I've had in ages. Took a punt on their good reviews, Got The woofer. It did not disappoint from the Kransky, brisket bacon and perfectly poached eggs. My son got the waffles, which he loved but there was no way he could finish them. So good we'll be back.
