Pies are good and generous. Decent selection. Customer service is not the greatest but we are all human after all. Shop is popular and I suggest to have a new larger location at the mall or closer to town, old shop just too small. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

On holiday from Northland looking for a quick feed and struck GOLD!! Best pie in NZ, pity I live at the wrong end of the country! Might have to plan another road trip for another one. My son thought the bakery's name is quite funny so went and check it out. OMG, I would say this shop is a must-not-to-be-missed on your trip to Invercargill. I have pie now and then but these are absolutely divine... Loved every bite and it's worth a wait 😋 ordered a seafood pie, skinny Indian, classic mince and the little fat lamb 😍 will try a different filling tomorrow before we head off to Bluff.

NOT a 5 stars as most claims. I reckon they haven't tried really good pies. Had a Mince n cheese and a mutton. $6ea, but pies are larger than normal so no gain/loss. Pastry is very good, nice flaky and puffy. But the Mince n cheese filling is average, no really much better than the local bakery or service station. The mutton filing was a disappointment, bland and not flavorsome at all, looked like luncheon except luncheon tastes a lot better.
