Stopped in for lunch and was fortunate enough to be seated shortly after arriving. We had oysters, lobster rolls and the ice cream sandwich. The oysters were incredible and combined with the ice cream sandwich, one of the best things we ate in town. Unfortunately, the lobster rolls were in my opinion, overpriced for what you get. I will say their butter presentation provides it with good flavor but mine barely had any lobster so the one that did is what was photographed. Would stick to oysters and dessert on my next visit. So worth it to include the Eventide Oyster Company into your Portland Maine trip. If you're not sure and are a fan of seafood, it's definitely worth it. First thing is first though! Reservations! Have a reservation ready and do so weeks in advance because this place gets packed! There is almost always a line to get in and props to the staff for managing the crowds and getting tables going smooth to keep up with the traffic of people stopping by to check out this spot. The waiter answered all of our questions and gave suggestions on what items to try which was much appreciated. My favorite was the lobster roll and clam chowder. Those are must haves!
