This was the one night we had in Lüderitz as part of our Namibia road-trip. Great mix of local and tourists. We had a great seafood platter and lobster tails! Definitely a recommendation! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service a bit on the slow side, but that seems to be the case everywhere in Namibia. This never takes away from how friendly an accommodating the staff are. I asked for a custom made vegan Alfredo pasta and it was very delicious. I also added the veggie of the day to the pasta and it made for a great combination. The sunset cocktail was also amazing and the outside section is also a smoking section so maybe only sit here if you don't mind the smell of cigarettes. The restaurant offers great very of the Luderitz waterfront. A very quiet waterfront compared to CPT for example, but very beautiful clean and neat. On the bottom (downstairs) of the restaurant on a short distance there is also a playground for the kiddies. Wifi was easily accessible and fast . Parking on the road on the side of the restaurant. We sat out on the deck overlooking the harbour for lunch. We shared the seafood platter for one between two people and utterly enjoyed it. Everything on the platter was delicious. But, honestly, the waitress stole the show. She is the kindest of people. Unfortunately, we didn’t get her name.

We drove through Luderitz looking for a spot to have lunch and came across this gem The menu caters for all, which we took advantage of. All meals were delicious, and the portions were massive. The view over looks the bay. Highly recommended Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Seafood

Upmarket restaurant on the quay at Luderitz. Despite the German name, the seafood stole the show. Try the platters to taste a variety. Busy, so book ahead if you would like a table with a view.

Do yourself a favour and visit Essenzeit! 🤯 We were so impressed by the hearty welcome and amazing service when we stopped for a few beers upon arriving in town that we returned for dinner. We enjoyed the most amazing meal - prawn starter and mussel soup followed by a platter for 2. The calamari was succulent and literally melted in our mouths!!! Prawns were prepared just perfectly as were the fish, mussels and oh my hat - the oysters 😋😋😋 Their service is top notch and the menu options and execution thereof doesn’t disappoint! Essenzeit didn’t feature on our top 5 list of restaurants to visit while in Luderitz but somehow ended up being our first stop for a beer as we arrived in Luderitz. (And sadly for us but yay for Essenzeit!!! 🥇🥇🥇our anticipated Nr 1 restaurant destination ended up being a complete letdown. But I think Essenzeit simply raised the bar too high for anyone else in town to look good?! 😅) I cannot recommend Essenzeit enough to anyone visiting Luderitz - just do it!!! The food was super delicious! I ordered the Seafood/Curry one and some Oysters 🦪. The waitress was so friendly and i felt really welcomed 🤗 I would recommend it to all my friends and also to you (reader) 😊 Service Dine in Meal type Other

The crumbed Calamari was excellent. They indicate a garlic and butter sauce but their was none, we asked for sauce and had to pay for it. We ordered rice and received chips. We ordered the mouse that was excellent, we also ordered a lemon pudding but was definitely a malva pudding although it was great I do think their is a communication problem between the waiter and the kitchen. With both incidents the waiter indicated that they experienced the same with other vlients regarding the issues we had. Your food is of a good quality make sure your service is also on a good standard Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
