Hidden gem! San Diego has recently legalized home based restaurants and Erlene’s is one of the leaders in this new concept! Chef Erlene has a fabulously beautiful patio area set for dining and entertaining small groups and is proficient in serving up any cuisine you can imagine. Her chicken piccata and rice pilaf (which is what we had for our anniversary dinner) are amazing. She makes home made desserts and baked goods to round out the meal with tea party service and/or coffee available as well. Where else can you get essentially a private dining experience where the whole restaurant is yours and your choice of cuisine for less than thousands of dollars? Amazing experience!
