Loved the drinks, ambiance, and wait staff. From a food perspective, a lot of dishes were too salty - including scallops and mushrooms. The paella was quite overcooked as well. The potatoes, shrimp, and crème brûlée were great though! We also got the dessert that gets lit on fire, but it was not nearly as good. Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

Started great with the bread and olive tapenade. Unfortunately that was that was the best thing we had. Shrimp had a very fishy taste, and the broth was odd tasting. Calamari was overcooked to the point that it was very dry. The sauce was good, though. Shishito peppers were blistered well but had zero flavor. Needed salt and acidity. The braised pulled pork sandwich was inedible. Potato chips were crisp but again had no flavor (like eating raw potatoes). Elia is an hidden gem and one of my new favorite local restaurants. Excellent food, drinks, and service! My friend and I went for wine and split a couple of tapas. Both the shrimp and empanadas were fantastic, and Shelby was so helpful and friendly! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $30–50

I tried this place for a special birthday dinner with friends and it was AMAZING! The food was excellent. We had the empanadas, scallops, and pecan encrusted chicken and it was delicious. My favorite part is definitely the live music and the tapenade bread. Our server Hassan was very attentive for our large group I will definitely be back any chance I get. Our family enjoyed both the food and atmosphere so very much. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special day or just go out and relax. We love that it’s a local, family business as well, you can feel the love they’ve poured into all the details… especially the delicious dishes!! While visiting from Austin, we had dinner at Elia Cafe Tapas Bar and were blown away! The authentic flavors, gorgeous decor, and attention to detail were outstanding. Can't remember the last time having paella this good! Note to owners, can you please open a sister restaurant in Austin? We enjoyed the food, drinks, live music, and the restaurant is so cute. Great addition to the restaurant scene in the area. However it was hard to find our server at times and the space felt so crowded even on a slower evening. There are too many tables and chairs in the space with little room to move without disrupting neighboring tables. This tapas restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Bryan College Station. They have live music Wednesday-Saturday nights and the cafe just oozes romance and all things cozy! The tapas are delicious and they have a full bar but most of all it’s the people within these four walls who make it so special! I highly recommend Elia Cafe and Tapas bar and have been there 5 times since their soft opening in December!
