I was blown away by how beautiful this restaurant was inside with the lush greenery, it felt like walking into an oasis. I was greeted by the loveliest young lady and then the owner, both so genuinely kind and sweet. I was recommended the nachos and I loved the heat for the spice - eating my leftovers as I write this review! Come for the happy hour deals, stay for the ambiance and amazing hospitality! This is a must visit place while traveling in Ometepe. The owner is really welcoming, smiling guy. We became friends after spending some time in his restaurant, hope to come back one day and say hi to him again! Cocktails were amazing and in a good price, you also have happy hour in the evening (1$ local beer). Homemade meals prepared with love, you can choose spicy or not spicy toppings. Yummy! The owner Jean is one of the friendliest people we have met on our travels in Nicaragua. A truly inspiring person who is always smiling. We loved the food: the homemade nachos are perfect and the Enchiladas are awesome, too. Many vegetarian options. It is very cute inside with many plants but can get quite warm so the outside tables are nicer. Wish we didn’t leave today so we could come back. Great restaurant! As the other reviews already mentioned, the owner really is a lovely guy who made us feel so welcome. The food is quite good as well. We had the chicken nachos, quesadilla, and enchiladas. The nachos were a real stand out with some of the best tortilla chips I’ve ever had. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

After 3 days on the island, we ate here while waiting for the ferry to the mainland and it’s the best food we’ve had the entire trip!! We highly recommend this place. The food is authentic and so flavorful. The hospitality was amazing with a clean environment and so many beautiful plants. You have to eat here! Such a gem of a restaurant - delicious food in big portions (I had the chicken enchiladas with spicy sauce), excellent drinks (especially the spicy margaritas) and one of the friendliest restaurant owners I've ever met - thank you John for your wonderful hospitality and warmth! The guy who runs it was the friendliest host we’ve had during our entire trip. An absolute legend! The food was incredible too, the perfect amount. Very cute restaurant close to the ferry dock in Moyogalpa. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, he even went above and beyond to help us with contact information when we had a medical issue for our 5 year old. Good for families too, went there with our kids and they were super happy with their quesadilla.
