After searching pinellas for authentic Mexican, we finally found our place. Really good food at solid prices with great (and fast) service. There are several tables to sit down and enjoy your food, or you can order at a to go window. We ordered the huarache and cóctel de camarones, and both were flavorful and enjoyable. I must admit the place is very unassuming on the outside and a little small on inside. That is where the concerns end. The food and service was fantastic and very authentic. We have eaten in Tijuana and Guadalajara so they hold up to those standards. Also the portions are for good appetites. Very very good tastes and we will be back. update2023 May : I’ve eaten here 10 more times and it still is consistent and still good and still authentic. They need to expand their eating space that is the biggest problem right now because the food is so damn good. Update: Went again and the chef came out with the food which was again wonderful and made from scratch. Picture of Bistec added. Why are the beans so good?!?! lol

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ST PETE. Amazing service, FAST, clean, and oh so delicious. Family run. The real deal. This place is fairly priced and the horchata is incredible. I’m going to try everything on the menu. This place can have all my money. Thank you

The salsa here is insanely spicy and you’re going to absolutely love it! They also have a spicy guacamole, and yes, it’s spicy, but that salsa is spicier and delicious. I got the mango Aqua Fresca and it was fantastic. Highly recommend it, especially to help with the spice. My wife’s chimichanga was great. I got the giant empanada thing and it was good, but maybe too big for being so simplistic. Their chips were okay, but didn’t stack up to the excellent quality of the salsa. Oh yeah, we also got a pork and a beef head taco and they were pretty good.
