We had the most incredible Christmas dinner at Puertorico. On the way to rincon we found this incredible dinner place.
We loved the food , tried their authentic mofango with veggies , with chicken, tried their veggie pizza and pasta , Every thing was mouthwatering.

Attention to detail was superb in servicing their patrons. Food portions were sufficient. The regular stuffed monfongo with chicken was good, but they put too much sauce (caldo), that the monfongo has the texture of mondongo. The general atmosphere allowed families to unite and gather for conversation and a good meal overlooking the beautiful lush green mountainous region.
There were only 3 setbacks. One, you have to know how to stealthily park your car within a tight configuration on a partial hill. Second, if you intend on eating here on an extremely hot day, you are going to roast, sweat, and I pity anyone who is respectfully suffering from hot flashes. No air conditioner! If it rains, it's refreshingly welcoming, but the floor tiles become a skating rink if you do not have the proper foot gear. It's an open concept restaurant even though the roof and hanging curtains to block the sun's rays are in place, but it's not enough. Finally, the workers are industrious under hot inclement weather to provide optimal service. They do their utmost to comply with patrons' demands and meal needs. Therefore, for those "cheap" patrons who fail to leave a tip, shame on you! Personally witnessed a patron pay for a bill of $128 and change, and he didn't give a dime to the overworked waitress. Shameful! Upon witnessing this, I took the initiative to give her the tip that she deserved. She was humbly apprehensive but conceded under the obvious circumstance. It's common sense, people! The wages are minimal on the island, so dignify the waiters and waitresses with respectable tips! The receipt even has the suggested tip math calculations done for you if you're unable to determine the percentages. Enjoy the island and their diversified restaurants, but respectfully compensate the workers, please.

The food was ok. The service not so good. I have been here twice already and the waiters dont know how to treat customers and dont know how to serve or smile. So they serve us our food and forget to give us silvereare. Were waiting there for like 10min for her to come back out so we can ask her. Then she brings the silverware and only one napkin per person. Really. Are you that scringy on napkins. Yeah. Not worth going back. The view is nice and the food is ok.

I visited this Restaurant while on vacation in PR. Family members who live in Camuy took me there. The trajectory was interesting and breathtaking, once inside the view from the dinning area in the balcony was AMAZING, witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen, the service was super friendly, the food, what can I say about the delicious food, the mouth watering pork shops, etc. I'm planning to go visit PR early next year and El Grand Mariner is already on my TO EAT list!

The food was delicious, but we received salad, then our food, but no silverware to eat with, eventually the waitress bought them. The drinks were also served after we were half through eating.

The food presentation was less than fancy, the taste was good, the service is excellent, the environment is appealing, and the location was still complicated due to the pass of Hurricane Ian. It will be a while before we return with family and friends.

The reviews does make justice! I had a mofongo with sea food and it was superb! For dessert we had the pistachio cheesecake, it was to die for! The service was above and beyond! The person taking care of us I thought it was the owner or at least the manager. The way he conducted himself, how he interacted with other employees and the way he addressed all the guests gave me that impression. Eliezer was our waiter, very courteous and welcoming. Very friendly restaurant and the prices are very good. I definitely will return again! Excellent place to eat and to see the beautiful scenery!
