One of the many popular spots to get duck egg char kuey teow. Not bad, but didn't felt that it was particularly good. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 1–20

The stall is outside the Eighty Six Restaurant at night. It's quite popular for its duck egg char koay teow. The fried duck egg koay teow is tasty with good 'wok hei '.

Their Duck Egg Char Koay Teow is really good, rich in flavour and “wok hei”. It is well stir-fried with the crispy pork lard. Must have it with an extra fried duck egg. The gluey egg york enlightens the flavour.

Best CKT in Penang. Nope, best CKT in Malaysia. The duck egg gave a creamy consistency to the noodle.

It seems this kopitiam is popular with everything duck. According to reviews, the duck egg fried okay teow is delicious. Too bad it only sell at night. Inside there is a freezer selling frozen duck products. We came in the morning so we ordered bee chai bak and wantan noodle. Both Bee chai bak and wantan noodle are below average! If you're craving for duck, remember this kopitiam!

Having seen the fire myself, I couldn't believe the CKT served was actually fried with such a big fire. I was also surprised with the decent turnout for a rainy evening! The smoky and aromatic flavours are missing! You can't feel the wok hei at all! The pork lard, good amount of prawns and fried egg on top didn't help to salvage this CKT I believe this has to do with pre-fried koay teow in large quantity. The mass production is, understandably, a big no no for quality food I'm sorry to say that the CKT doesn't deserve the current rating above 4 on Google Maps! It's also far from being the best CKT in BM I wished fellow Google Maps review contributors were more objective in their rating, as I drove more than 40 minutes to get this disappointing plate of CKT after reading the reviews. Your rating does have an impact on users like me Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 1–20
Duck egg char koay two as supper. The koay teow are char with charcoal on super big and high heat, the wok hay aroma is there, plus the char koay teow is fried with lard. A crispy fried egg is a must, the egg was crispy on the outside and tender from inside
The ‘wok hei’ is on point. Taste is definitely good and it is even better when I poke the egg yolk of the additional fried egg that I ordered and mix it with the char kueh teow. Price is reasonable which is at rm6.50 for the bigger portion, while extra egg costs rm1.20 a little pricey but it served its purpose to enhance the flavour. Waited for 15 mins on non-peak hours. People go there for 1 thing only, well mostly. That famous duck egg char kway tiao fried on charcoal fire. See pic. Watching the fellow cooking is a show. Intense wok hei, raw flavour. Like it, but enough to queue an hour for another 1.
