This area has quite a bit of amazing Jamaican food and Dunn’s River was quite good. I got their large oxtail cup, their small jerk chicken meal, fried tilapia, fried dumplings, and breadfruit. The oxtail was cooked nice and tender but not as well seasoned as some of the other places around. Jerk chicken was also not as seasoned as those around but was still great. Fried tilapia was fried well and seasoned well but just good. The fried dumpling though was the best I’ve ever had (or perhaps because I air fried for a few minutes to reheat), would recommend. This was my first time trying breadfruit and for those who have not yet tried it, I would 10/10 recommend. Taste and texture was interesting and definitely worth trying. Kind of potato like yet bread like at the same time like jackfruit texture. Pairs great with proteins like any carb.
