We were actually planning on a different restaurant when the waiter flagged us down. Couldn't get in where planned so gave this a try. What a great decision. We had grilled sea bass for two. Wow. Best fish we have had on our trip to Portugal (and we have had a lot). Our friends ordered grilled cod and the waiter suggested, actually insisted, my wife try it. The baked octopus was delicious and the food reasonably priced. We were the only ones dining as we'd arrived at the end of the lunch service and they patiently waited for us to finish our meal. Two unusually silent guys serving us; did their job but that was it - maybe language issue... food was great, had fish soup (with bones) and oven baked octopus which was super tender. Opportunity on the presentation but overall good value for money. Four stars. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Best Portugal experience. The food and service was wonderful. Best service that I had all week here in Portugal. The chief came out and spoke with us. Fantastic wine. Make sure you order some. They're very confident about it, for good reason. Fabulous value for €11. All our mains (cod, octopus, sea bass) were delicious with the potatoes and sides. The calamari in the prawn and calamari skewers were the highlight. Thank you!
