You can see why Churchill chose to visit here and do some painting. It's a lovely spot to sit, look over the harbour and watch the world go by. Mainly a place to stop for a drink, however there are a few snacks to choose from if you're a little peckish. There's not always a waiter handy when you want to settle your bill, but it's easy enough to note your table number and pop inside to pay at the bar Price per person €1–5 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely Drinks. Great People Watching. A very pleasant place to sit out on a sunny day - which is most days in Madeira. We had just walked down the steps from Cabo Girau and had lunch at the Dock's sister restaurant (both part of Pestana Churchill Bay hotel). So, we thought we would move to here for coffees. We then also got tempted by the Pastelaria Varida (pastry dessert) and a glass each of 5yr old Medium Dry Madeiran wine - the waiter talked us into it. The bill came to E23 (but E14 of that was the wine) so good value for a posh hotel in such a great location.

Super lecker. Wir saßen draußen mit dem Blick auf den Leuchtturm. Es war super. Das Himbeereis war absolut lecker und hat geschmeckt wie selbst gemacht. Dann hatten wir noch pulled pork mit chips. Der Kellner erklärte uns das es ein traditionelles Essen zu Weihnachten ist, was hier aber das ganze Jahr über serviert wird. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war ok. Vielen Dank Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Novo Poncha - Tapas Bar na baía de Câmara de Lobos com pessoal muitíssimo simpático e amável. Espaço em memória de Winston Churchill com decoração que lembra os clubes ingleses. Esplanada extremamente agradável com estátua de Churchill onde se pode sentar para tirar uma foto.

Très décevant, très cher et surtout pas bon... a éviter clairement !!!!! Nous n'avons rien manger de nos assiettes ... à part la salade médiocre. Le tout pour 88 euros à 2 avec 1 verre de vin seulement. Passez votre chemin

Adorável porque situa-se junto ao mar, com muita exposição solar, local muito bonito no seu interior. Vale a visita. Situa-se no edifício do Pestana Churchill Bay Hotel.

Die Qualität der servierten Speisen und Getränke war ok - nicht herausragend. Die Preise jedoch schon. Der Ort ist sehr nett: Einfach vorher nach den Preisen fragen und dann kann jeder für sich entscheiden, ob es das Wert ist. Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen.
