Came here for lunch on the first day of our trip north. Neither of us was very hungry so settled on 2 starters. Both were super delicious. I felt service was a little slow, to the point I had to get up and go to the bar to order more drinks. Other than that it's a great place to visit with good food.

The "Crispy Salmon" with fresh vegetables was well prepared, portioned, and presented with excellence.

Yummy! A little overpriced for certain meals.. we got this platter which was supposed to be able to feed 4-6 people.. very misleading as it’s very small and wouldn’t be able to feed more than 2 people unless you have a very small appetite hence the 3/5 stars. Otherwise nice atmosphere and staff are friendly.
Cold Microwave food. Shocking for a place where the menu never changes. The food should be on point. On a good note beer was nice and cold served by friendly staff.

I just want to say first, while I've rated it a 3, my family and I did enjoy our time here and I'd like to come back for dinner or lunch.
I had the eggs benedict with bacon. I wouldn't say it's a generous portion for the price, and unfortunately one of the poached eggs was cooked hard.
My son did enjoy his hashbrowns and chips, and thanks to the kitchen and staff for letting us order something that was probably on the lunch menu.
We sat inside as that's where my son wanted to sit. You could tell the place had character and would come alive in the evening, but for breakfast its a bit dark and I'd recommend sitting outside if the weather allows.

Had the fat boy burger. I've had this in the past and it use to be great, it use to have bacon, egg, chicken and a chutney but now has none of this and the whole meal is smaller. If I pay 25 dollars for burger it needs to be a great burger. They do an unplugged version that is a bit like the old version but still not as good as the old version and it cost even more. I will not be buying this again unless I see a change.

We ate at the restaurant towards the rear of the Inn. The menu is European/English and quite wide-ranging - beef, chicken, pork, venison and so on. Service was fast and friendly. I had the signature dish (beef) and madame had the pork. Both were big meals, and we shouldn't have ordered the side of steamed veg. Dessert was good. With two glasses of wine the meals totalled just over $110.
