Excellent food. Service is also good but very slow. 20 min for drinks, an hour for main course. Bring some patience and enjoy the beautiful beach. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This is my favorite beach in the area, with decently priced food and good service, but I haven't been in a few months since they started repaving the highway in and out of La Cruz (It was pretty awful before). Has anyone driven to the beach lately (end of July 2023) - and what is the road like to the parking lot? Thanks. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a nice place to spend a day relaxing in the sun and listen to the crashing waves. Note* there is a charge for parking, sitting at the beach tables (full waiter service) and a charge to use the Restroom. Best pescado sarandeado. I was tired of resort food and I wanted to try something authentic and fresh, made by locals. This place is a short work from Armony hotel and is a must try. The cooks are local ladies and price is very affordable. The fish quality was good and most important the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. We will go back. Came for the beach, parking is 100$ pesos or $5 USD. Their umbrellas and lounge chairs are well worth the cost of a few cervesas! We had nachos and some drinks. Margaritas and cocktails are 80-150$ pesos ($5 USD) Beers are 40-60$ pesos ($2 USD) We plan to come back with friends for the whole fish and swim when the waters are calmer.

Again in 2019 they jacked up the prices for renting tables and chairs. Now MXP 250. I ordered France fries. The most horrible. Cold and fried too long. Waiters are fine. However management has no clue how to serve client with price/quality

This is a nice outdoor beach restaurant that serves traditional Mexican food. Excellent Margaritas and good service. The plates can be quite generous so check the portion size on the menu. The mango and shrimp cerveche is fantastic.

I love these beach, has a restaurant, bar, hotel, everything and isn’t crowded at all ! Basically it’s a virgen island! You will love too !

If you visit la playa destiladeras, then this is the place for you. a four-star restaurant right on the beach with palapa covered dining or beachfront tables with umbrellas. the prices are about average for higher-end beachfront dining in the Nayarit area, and all the food is delicious. I especially like the leader sized pina colada. if you find yourself in Nayarit, and want to beach where there are no rocks and it is easy to swim, this is the place for you. if you find this review useful, please click the thumbs-up button below. have a great day!
