We went as a lunch party of 5 and it was a pleasant and welcoming environment. The interior was spacious and ceilings high, like an old town hall. Rustic & cool with a brewing room. Anna seated and waited on us with Emily’s assistance. The menu was reduced & CC machine / wifi were nonfunctional due to weather, but there were still multiple parties enjoying themselves. A few drinks, excellent meals, & desserts later we were out the door & greatly appreciative of the friendly service & excellent food. And by the way, we also found the opportunity to harass the chef on one of his pass-throughs with questions & praise. A knowledgeable gentleman, we appreciated your taking the time to talk with us. This is the first time we have been here and the food was really good our waitress was awesome.... update.... stopped by for lunch today (Sunday) we ordered some burgers and we waited for a good 45 minutes for the food the beer that I had was really good and so was the burger but the fries were cold Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Food tasted good but the wait time was terrible - over an hour's wait and at no point was the wait acknowledged or apologized for. People ordering large amounts of alcohol were served faster. Fries were cold by the time our food finally got to us and the burgers were lukewarm. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

The new fall menu is fantastic. Ann cottage pie, The pork chop with baked apples, acorn squash and haricot verts was delicious. I had the new beer totally forgot the name of it but it was excellent. 19% alcohol be very careful. The owners treated us like family. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was an awesome place! Joe the owner is so knowledgeable about brewing, cocktails specialty liquors, the list goes on and on. We enjoyed our meal and drinks and chatting with Joe. We just stumbled upon this place, and it was really awesome! Great drinks and food and service. Great atmosphere too! They actually had Mead on tap! I don’t think I’ve ever come across a bar that has mead on tap, so that was very cool! Also, a first for us was a aquavit flight! I must now make my way to Iceland to have more! For food, we had their duck sliders, which was ground meat. Tasty. But the salmon deviled eggs were amazing! Our bartender was fantastic too. Sorry I forget her name. Firstly the beer, saying it was good is an understatemen. The menu is large with options for all and Maria(waitress) is a great help advising dishes and drinks to your taste. She knows the menu well and did everything to provide the best possible service. After meeting with Joe the owner and getting insight into just how hard he works to get the best varieties of beer makes you want to come back and try them all. Beer aside, they have amazing food, and big variety of whisky. An amazing team that delivers the best atmosphere and makes sure you have a great time! Had a wonderful time. We were schooled on Aquavit. Now I will be getting into Aquavits. New experience means new beginnings. The food was excellent, a lot of choices for anyone looking to explore Americana, Belgian, German, and Welsh. I will return. One of the best experiences at a brewery and restaurant in a long time. What a fantastic location to unwind and enjoy a great brew with great food. We have visited this Descendants Brewing Co. twice and have been impressed with the great ambiance, food, beer and service. The music is not too loud, the lighting is perfect and the interior is rustic and relaxing. One of my favorite places to visit in Hunterdon County for an enjoyable time! I highly recommend trying it out.
