Had to wait over an hour for a simple omelette even though there were only 6 people in the restaurant. No explanations as to why we had to wait so long. Portions were small for the price compared to other restaurant. The waiter was very kind though. In total would not reccommend. The staff is really friendy, the food is amazing, the price of the food & drinks are pretty fair. For extra things they didnt have one the menu, they send their stuff to buy it for us. We can definetley recommend this place for everyone, if for breakfast, Lunch or dinner, crepes or vitamin Juice or smoothies. Simple menu, low priced, decent sized portions, tasty food in a small, friendly, clean, street cafe . Not fine dining in a designer decorated, white table clothed restaurant. No alcohol. This restaurant is very unassuming. At first we didn’t expect much. But the food and service was great. The food did take a while to come but when it came it was fresh and piping hot. We were first served complimentary bread and olives. We ordered the chicken tagine with vegetable couscous, and the kefta with chips for lunch The chips were stale but the kefta was delicious and tasty. The tagine was very tender and flavoursome and tasted beautiful with the couscous. Lastly the service, the women server was very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel very welcome and at home, cozy restaurant and nice and quiet. After landing in Essaouira we dine our brunch at Des Arcades. The omelettes were freshly prepared, mint tea was delicious, kids loved freshly squeezed orange juice. I had chicken tangine and it was delicious. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch

Whilst inside the Medina on Valentines day my fiancé and I came across this nice little place and based on the menu decided it was our place for lunch . The owner/chef was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely lunch all well presented, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was lacking a little for a special ❤️ lunch, but the food was tasty and not over priced. I liked how the chef took the time to tell me how he makes Apple Crumble, being British like the dessert I wanted to know how he made it so moorish.

Unfortunately, worst restaurant I've been to in Essaouira (I come often and have probably done nearly all). I was the only person in the restaurant yet I had to come find someone to order, I had to get up again and ask for my drink after 15 min, and the chicken tagine was overcooked and had about one quarter of a preserved lemon on it. Bad all around.

Nice place with a decent atmosphere. The starter was very good (bisque) as were the smoothies but the mains left a lot to be desired. Fish of the day was slightly chewy and pasta seafood was bland if not for the spices on top.

Excellent breakfast which is great value for money. Very friendly owner and lovely sun terrace. We ate here three days in a row.

We had the specials, poached lobster for 60 and curried sting Ray for 80. Both were done perfectly!
