This photo doesn't do justice. This is the type of bagel that deserves a high-end photographer from Vogue magazine, not my crumby phone camera. Whenever I am in the area I make a point to stop here at Dead End for their fresh homemade pop tarts and cheddar jalapeño bagels. I like to heat mine up and add their cream cheese. SO GOOD, be sure to check them out!!

Best Breakfast & lunch option in Ocean City. I got the Jersey hangover on the Cheddar Jalepeno bagel. AMAZING. My husband got the crabby grilled cheese & loved it as well. The wait was typical for a Sunday morning I believe. Absolutely worth it though. The bagel was so fresh & the pork roll was perfect.

I ran into them at the craft festival last weekend at 6th Street boardwalk area. We bought 1/2 dozen bagels which were two poppy seed and four everything. The bagels were delicious and had the toppings on both sides of each bagel. They were so delicious we went to their actual store. I waited in the car with the bean sprout and my daughter went inside to get more delicious bagels. 6-poppy seed, 2-cheddar, 2-everything, 1-honey oat, 1-garlic and 1-salted. She also picked up a cinnamon roll with icing. The review could have been 5-stars if she hadn’t gotten the cinnamon roll as it was stale. Will definitely be back for the bagels.

I have been meaning to try Dead End Bakehouse for a few years and was surprised to see that it only had 3 stars on Yelp. A few different things thwarted our attempts to visit over the years: weather, Covid, even a fire! We went for a late breakfast on Sunday (11am) and the place was pretty empty. It looked like they still had most items available, including delicious looking homemade pop tarts on the counter. I must say that I love the branding of this place. They are owned by the same group that owns Sand House and Drip & Scoop, all which have really great interiors. I got an Avocado BLT on an Everything bagel. It may just be because I have not had a bagel in a long time, but I though this bagel was amazon. I would have gotten a different sandwich though because a BLT on a bagel is mostly bread. My girlfriend got the Honey Ham, which is Pork Roll and Habenro Honey cream cheese. It was amazing, She got it on a poppyseed bagel which really paired nicely with the ham. My friends got the Bacon & The Goat avocado toast which looked really good and was certainly a big enough portion to split between two people. We sat outside in their bright orange chairs (love these) and enjoyed the nice day. This place is quickly becoming a staple in Ocean City. Whether you are hungover and looking for a greasy breakfast sandwich or picking up a dozen bagels to take home, this is the place for you. The location could be better but there is usually plenty of street parking along Bay Ave (or on the *Dead End*). Definitely stop by!
Absolutely the BEST bagels, and bread in town. Breakfast sandwiches are HUGE, and very delicious. I'd actually drive back to have some of their Sour Dough bread, took a loaf home, and basically NEED more!

Aptly named, this is a “dead-end” for quality and service. You’ll likely go here anyway because you’ve rented a place around the corner and don’t feel like walking an extra block to a higher quality place – but you should really think twice about skipping the “dead end.” Teenagers are dismissive and disinterested by nature, but the dead-end staff seems to lower the bar even farther. They really don’t care – what you’ve ordered, how long you’ve waited – really about anything. And they make sure you know it!! The terrible service pairs well with the substandard food. The one thing the café of miserable teens was able to do is screw up a bacon, egg, and cheese. That is an accomplishment! They got the bacon and cheese, but somehow missed the cheese (partial credit?). See photo. It was served on untoasted limp bread.

Great menu. It’s s bagel joint with plenty more to offer. Always serving up delicious breads and pastries, really can’t compare with your usual “bakehouse”. The honey habanero cream cheese is life changing.

Skip Asbury and check this place out! Look at the golden crisp on the edge of my fried egg on their (very soft inside, very fresh) everything bagel! Best start to a day at the shore in years. Image 2 is pork round, egg, and cheese on their perfect egg bagel. This was a first for me. If you’re like me and have never tried a breakfast sandwich with pork round, treat yourself! So good!

What an awesome place for the island. A fresh bake house with breakfast, breads, baked goods, and more. Everything is baked fresh every day and the smells only open the senses to the great tastes that are inside of this trendy corner store. Can’t wait to try one of their breakfast sandwiches soon! Quick view of their sourdough chocolate chip cookies (that didn’t last long) and their store front.
