I was there yesterday on a Social Deal cupom and was SO impressed with everything! Food was delicious, proper amount considering the proposal, orders came very fast and the service was absolutely perfect! Our waiter made us feel so welcomed and made sure to check if everything was good all the time. I will for sure come back other times and refer that to other people. Nice brown cafe with good atmosphere. Food was rather disappointing though and was (much) better in the past. Flavours weren't balanced and saté was drowning in its sauce. The comments we made weren't well received.

Atmosfeer is great. Beer is good. The sate was almost raw and much too salty. I didn't want to be impolite but I should have sent it back to cook more in the kitchen.

One of my highlights from the recent trip to the Netherlands. Ziest is a lovley place, De Jonckheer does incredible food in an incredible atmosphere. Cant wait to go again.

This isn't your ordinary brasserie! The dishes are creative, tasty and nicely plated. Be sure to ask about vegetarian options. The attention to detail and attentive service for the competitive price make this place an easy five stars. One minor critique is the side dish of pickled cucumber; I would like to see a different green side, such as coleslaw.
