My personal favorite coffee shop in NoCo. Coffee is excellent, baristas are almost always top notch, and the shop vibes are perfection. Definitely recommend 😊 The only downside is that indoor seating can get limited pretty quickly, but on warmer days there is a good amount of patio seating too.

First and foremost, absolutely fantastic coffee! I had one of their seasonal coffees and it was pretty incredible. As for the atmosphere of the place, great coffee vibes. The interior is a little dark but it actually gives it a pretty cozy vibe, perfect for a coffee shop. I of course arrived at peak times so they were pretty swamped with orders, close to 8 orders ahead of me, but even then I had my drink in under 10 minutes, which puts even fast food coffee shops to shame. Now they don't have all the niche syrups so look at the menu if you go. All in all an amazing experience and I would 100% recommend 👌

I can’t rate at 5 star service. It would be nice if ALL workers were more welcoming to customers. Please train your workers & ask them to greet customers kindly & welcoming. We have options. Kindness brings goodness. It’s a pretty ambience, but service was sub par, not welcoming as other cafes in the neighborhood. The limited hours; open until 4:00 pm, really only caters to particular people; some students or stay at home parents. Not realistic for working people since they close at 4:00 pm every day even on weekends. I guess management is happy with those hours . Tea was very light tasting & bland did not taste like authentic good quality tea. Food options are limited.

We are visiting from Texas, looked at matcha places near Loveland, this place popped up. Did not disappoint! I am picky with my matcha. One, it’s ceremonial grade, unsweet (you may request to add sweetener if you’d like, I added it with honey). Second, we had it iced & hot. Both were really good! My partner ordered cold brew and was so impressed with the flavors that he ended up also buying one of their in house coffee beans to take with us back home. I also ordered their ham cheese croissant. Delicious! Flaky, flavor just right. The service, atmosphere to the sweet ladies taking & preparing our order, to the people waiting for their order, super sweet, genuinely charming. We are going to add this spot to a must visit each time we are in CO!

The espresso drinks here are still my favorite I’ve ever had even compared to some cafes in Europe and Chicago. The smoky mocha was especially good as a unique taste on a mocha.

I came on a Saturday morning right before a city parade. It was busy but still really good service. Everyone was nice and the caffe was clean. Super chill atmosphere. I got an Iced Earl gray lavender tea. Very refreshing. Prices are good and food looked amazing. I didn’t get anything to eat, but lots of people were ordering the specialty toast. They look delicious and the guests seemed to be enjoying them.

Love this place! Drinks are wonderful and balanced (not too sugary, etc). Pastries are delicious. Employees are kind and organized. I’ve been a customer here for a couple of years and have never had a bad experience.

I consider myself a connoisseur of mochas. I get a mocha everywhere. I’ve gotten a mocha more places than I can count. I know the mocha inside out. I can smell Ghirardelli syrup before I walk in the door of another coffee shop. How the espresso compliments the chocolate and the milk is very important. They have to play well together. The espresso here takes the chocolate to a whole ‘nother level. It’s nirvana. Other places are trying to fight unruly dark roasted overextracted espresso with Hollander chocolate sauce. Doesn’t work. Dark heart has truly refined espresso, and the baristas are not playing around. Perfect milk texture every time. This isn’t your Starbucks ladies and gentleman. Dark Heart holds the #1 spot on my list as the best Mocha I have had in the US. 9.7/10. I don’t give 10’s but I want to. I just might.

one of my favorite coffee bars! the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the ambiance of the shop is amazing. it is a little small so sometimes it’s hard to find seating. but there’s outside seating for the warmer months and they always have a rotating menu with pastries and snacks. the ham and gruyère croissants are amazing! they also have dairy alternatives that taste amazing. definitely recommend for girls days or just a place to sit and study.
