Me and my girlfriend wanted to get some ice cream at night. Got there around 7pm. People were eating at the tables. A dad ordered his kids ice cream in front of us. After they ordered we waited about 10 minutes for them to tell that dad and his kids that the ice cream machine is broken. We were waiting for them to refund the man just to tell us the ice cream machine is broken. They only had one machine. It’s dairy queen… they’re known for their ice cream. They offered us cheap ice cream sticks… we went to cookout instead after. Service Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Okay. Twice come here at 7pm and the have no ice cream because they shut off machines at what 6pm after dinner. My guess they are lazy or in a rush to go home. I’m glad I don’t buy fuel or anything else here. Thanks for your typical response. But I think you are where the problem starts. Why don’t you go in to your business 6-7pm unannounced and see if you can get ice cream. Isn’t ice cream what Dairy Queen sells? Just apologizing doesn’t fix anything. Fix your problems!

20 years ago I would have given this dairy queen 10 stars they were that excellent, but now I hated to even give the 1star that I had to give to be able to continue with the review. We came for lunch today at 11:30 am, the staff was friendly! But working the counter by herself 😪 we ordered 2 chicken strip baskets we asked for slushes for the drink machine was out of order, then we asked for sweet tea and it wasn't ready yet, so we settled for root beer that was flat with no carbonation. The staff behind the counter had so many people in line ordering food she ended up having to give us our sundaes way before our meal was ready well I don't have to tell you how that turned out yuck. This was our last time to every come to this dairy queen and we live in Summerton. But we would rather make the 45 to 50 minute trip to the one in Goose Creek, they are cleaner, more staff and more professional, the way you were way back when.😢😢😢😢.
