I don’t know what’s wrong with the fast food places in Pasadena. I’ve been getting burritos from Dairy Queen for years and it always comes with shredded cheese now all of a sudden they wanna try to say it comes with that nasty liquid cheese and you have to pay extra for shredded cheese, the owners of this Dairy Queen and the one on Richey Dairy Queen are going to run these businesses into the ground. The girl at the drive thru had an attitude as if she owned it. This kids now a days need to be taught customer service. She had no reason to get upset. I always come for ice cream. Unfortunately when I told the lady no pineapples “as I am allergic to them” put them anyway I did not see them as they were underneath the wipe cream. I called twice and no one answered. Luckily i found my medicine as I’m due for new prescription. Service Take out Meal type Other

I believe this is a franchise store and not corporate so that would explain the poor customer service and overall lack of company standards and expectations. You won't get your blizzard upside down, and be sure to double check your order after you leave because 90% of the time it isn't right probably due to the crappy microphone and speaker in the drive thru. This is the case even if you repeat your order multiple times. Couldn't tell you the operating hours or restaurant hours because they seem to make them up as you go locking the front door well before they should close. Quality is sub par, sloppy, and inconsistent. They love to overstuff your bags with too many items instead of giving you more than 1 which leads to bag tears and rips and you can guarantee you will never get napkins. Also the parking lot at night is very very dark and unlit and feels very rapey also riddled with potholes.

Tried a side of "jalitos" which are supposed to be some fried fresh jalapeno strips... extremely greasy. Batter was falling off. Ended up throwing them away... What can I say? It's my local DQ. They're serving up some of the same old delicious treats that I've enjoyed for most of my life. I asked a kid at another ice cream spot if they had malt, and they looked at me as if I were asking how to write computer code. I do miss the nostalgia of having my blizzard served upside down, but hey, I'm a kid at heart. I only do drive thru. So the atmosphere is family oriented and group gathering prospectively. I love the varieties of good food that never bores me and soft serve heaven when it comes to ice cream treats. They take as long as usual to give you the comfort that they focus on an order at a time and much requirement whatever that takes goes into food preparation that makes you feel important. And I go with a budget and a will to please them and they interrupt me each time with empathetic hurrying me along so I never regret and I am never nervous of them closing down.
