Cute space and okay food. We went here for a lunch on a Friday. There is no auto booking so we had to email the restaurant for reservation. The staff are nice and friendly. We ordered Raw fish, 2 mains (Fish and Squid) with 1 side (veggies) and Crème brûlée for dessert. The raw fish was the highlights of the meal, very tasty. However the rest of the meal was quite mediocre. The dessert was too sweet and weird textured so not recommended. It's nice for a little outing with wine tasting and food to fill you up if you're hungry. But if you looking for amazing food experiences, this wouldn't be place.

I hired The treehouse for a baby shower lunchtime function and it was the perfect place for it. From communication via email to book and arrange the day, everything was made very easy. You can take your own cake (for a $30 cake fee) and take your decorations (minus confetti)

I stopped in here with my girlfriends at the end of our weekend trip for a wine tasting, and I'm so glad we ended here! We sat at the tasting bar and Daphne guided us through a very relaxed tasting, letting us try whatever we wanted. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and the wines were all unique and delicious. They were also reasonably priced, so I definitely bought a bottle to take home. Overall, stopping at the Crab Farm Winery was a pleasant experience, I look forward to going back!

Great outdoor dining space and lovely live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Went a couple times over Christmas! Really enjoyed the seafood platter, the steak, fish and even the chicken schnitzel. The lemon/passionfruit cheesecake was excellent, light and delicious not too sweet. Very delicious, great portions, very full and satisfied. Some of the other dishes could use some improvement though. The pork belly was well presented, a huge serving but not as juicy as I hoped, a little bit on the dry side. The creme brulee looked amazing but while burnt on top, it was icy cold. :( It was both a busy night, so I would recommend to book ahead and go early, because they do run out of some menu items.

Would love to rate this place higher, but unfortunately I just can't. Great venue for sure. Outdoor seating is definitely pleasant on a hot Hawkes Bay summer evening, however we noticed the outdoor seating had a lot of ants crawling all over the table. We brought this to the attention of one of the staff, and he brought a cloth and table spray to attempt to mend the issue. This was good, and they seemed to disappear for a while. We ordered the bread and dip platter as an entree, which was nice and had good variety however we did find a hair in one of the dips. Main course was very nice, we did however order two steamed greens dishes. Someone had keyed in the wrong dish into the register apparently, and they brought out two incorrect salads. This added an extra 15 minute wait time for the corrected salads to emerge. One of our meals was also delayed quite a while, and we were at least halfway through our other dishes when it came out. Dessert was very nice, no complaints on that one. Overall, the setting of this place is lovely, and the food was delicious. Just a couple of points that broke the experience for us on that occasion.

Great spot that I’ve been visiting for at least 20 plus years I reckon. Love the rustic charm, the mixture of unusual varietals that you get in the wine and real value for money. This place is always busy, especially in the weekends so best to book in advance if you are wanting to dine, otherwise just pop in and taste the great wine in a cool iconic vineyard.

Had an 80th Sunday 16 of us could not fault the staff they went beyond to make this surprise birthday happen. Then the food platters arrived and it was beyond beautiful and well presented. Very delicious. Fire was going as it was raining and the whole atmosphere was delightful thank you Crab Farm we will be back
We popped in for a quick lunch and a tasting today. We were advised that the kitchen couldn't handle more, however the restaurant was at least less than 50% capacity. No offering of a wait time, a drink, or a tasting. Completely baffled
Pretty good food at a decent price compared to other places. Nice outdoor seating so it's a good temperature in the summer. They also have indoor seating for if it is cold. Nice atmosphere and pretty professional staff but sometimes the service takes a while. Would definitely recommend to others and it's pretty family friendly too. (Would suggest booking to get a good spot.)

We went for lunch, on the way into staying in Napier for a few days. The food was fantastic. It has a rustic look, but is comfy and the food is a varied with amazing tastes, from local, fresh produce. Even the salads as part of the meals were sublime. Crumbed risotto balls may sound heavy, but paired with the salad, was amazing. We only had a glass each of the wines with dinner, which were not great, so we did not stay for the wine tasting. We were fortunate that it was quiet when we were there, so had the pick of seats.
