We are regulars at Spurs Westwood. In all the time that I have visited there I found excellent service and good food quality. Staff were always pleasant and welcoming. Last night we went out for burgers and found the same great service and everyone enjoyed their meal. Keep it up team Westwood. Some of the food is not cooked well, eg. Mushrooms fried too much (but tasty), chips not fantastic. The onion rings were terrible, hardly any onion and flavourless. Went today to celebrate my son’s birthday. We were served with raw einsbein and onions rings fried in old oil. Paid the bill made them even use the birthday vouchers even though my kid was not even served with ice cream or the normal spur tradition of the staff singing. People mopping around us while the food was not even served. Bad experience the most cultural discriminatory service I have ever received. Play Area Assistant 09.11.2023 - Westwood Mall To whom this may concern, It is not very often that I get to send an email like this, but I feel it is an absolute must. My family and I visited Spur Westwood Mall yesterday at about 6pm. My daughter is 2 and a half years old and went straight to the play area. I have never felt more comfortable with my child being watched by another person before. The playroom assistant last night was the most warm and caring person I’ve ever seen or met at a restaurant before. She was such a beautiful person; you could just see goodness in her face. She was ready and waiting to help all the kids make the most out of their play time. By the time we were ready to leave she had a whole group of kids sitting and standing around her listening to her speak and laugh with them. She must have been telling them stories, but you could just see from our table that she was really interested in speaking and playing with them. I’ve been to so many Spur restaurants and many other restaurants and I have never see something like this before. It was honestly the reason we have decided that Spur Westwood will always be my family’s restaurant of choice. I pray she gets the recognition she deserves. Having to take our kids out to a restaurant can be very stressful, specially when they 5 an 6 years old. Spur is such an amazing place to go, the kids are happy playing in the play area an it gives us adults time to enjoy our meals without the kids drama.. I would absolutely recommend spur in Suncoast and Westwood, the service is impressive, they take so much of care of your kids an its a bonus for the whole family... Good Evening. Spur steak ranches has always been the home away from home for food. The quality of service and is same all over the country (excluding Spur Galleria). Went in on Monday for dinner and was turned away on some excuse of there not being water, meanwhile front restaurant was busy. So went to Sandy Centre Spur. Went in last night for supper and wanted to sit in a quite place cos of the noise outside, so we sat 2 rows away from patio door leading to the smoking dining area. At the time the door was completely shut. As the waiters serviced the outside area they left the door ajar and the wind brought the horrible smoke smell inside and I asked the waiters to please close the door. I was met with dirty looks and 4 times more it happened. Then I spoke to the Manager Bafana and he told them to keep the door closed and that didn't help. So I moved my table right across from the kitchen, here it was hot and noisy. So we had supper uncomfortably in the noise and heat. Then the drama with card machine started, My goodness. We are paying to buy your service and food, you don't supply for free, so I don't expect to be abused by your totally useless staff. Be sure I'm gonner post this event on all platforms available. With spur you'd think seen one, you seen them all...but no not this one. Been to this spot a few times..they have the best food out of all the spurs from Umhlanga to Toti. Love the staff, all staff is friendly and efficient, seriously great service. Table's are clean and not left wet and sticky from previous customers. Its also not too crowded and chaotic like others. Well run spur, never had a problem. Food is well prepared and waiters are knowledgable and dont pester you. This is not a Halaal restaurant which sets it apart in Westwood mall. Best Vegan meals, if you have any issues speak to Lutendo and she will assist to shake up the Kitchen.

Best best Spur ever! Best children's play area. Lots of space etc for the kids. Amazing staff. Excellent service. Really rate this as one of the best Spurs to date.
