Unfortunately there were no pies other than a vegan or vegetarian pie and 1 bacon & egg pie, this has happened before only 1.30 pm, the young guy serving me decided to answer the phone despite there being 2 other staff members then just walked off leaving me waiting, his customer service has room for improvement.

Really good bread and well priced.
Great range of bakery doughnuts and savories. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and thought I'd try their pies from the warmer. I love Steak and cheese pies, but this one I really disliked and the sausage roll was so dry, I regretted my decisions that day.

Our Coupland's Bakery in Gate Pa is always a great visit. The staff are always super helpful and friendly. The owners can be rightfully proud of their staff. The shop is always absolutely spotless and a great range of fresh products. I just cannot resist their Bacon + Egg Pie.
Coupland's Gate Pa is a credit to the owners and an asset to our community. Without hesitation I highly recommend them.

Good baked goods and prices are good as well. Have a big range of slices, biscuits and pies along with bread, rolls and milk.

Best place to get your Pies 🥧 and Fruit bread 🍞 and everything else inside ..
I live in central plateau Ohakune and when I do go to Tauranga see auntie for a week before I go back I get as much pies and fruit bread 🍞 to take back home .
Wish you can make Steak mushrooms 🥧

They have the best bread ever. So fresh and baked daily. The grain bread we get stays fresh for much longer than any other brand from the local supermarkets. They also have some other tasty treats to choose from on a peckish day. Excellent parking and easy access to the store. Lovely ladies to talk with at the counter. Very helpful and friendly.

I just felt l needed to eat something from yesteryear! So off l went to Coupland's Bakeries. I was not disappointed. The doughnut was fresh and yummy. I had not had one since l was 15 years old! A school girl in Whakatane High School
One could the get a pie and a doughnut for 2 shillings and 6 pence at Kopeopeo. Worth waiting for!. Go, you will be delighted 😀.
