Beware of this place and their deceptive business practices. The menu clearly states their sandwiches are served with a side of chips and pickles. Yet, after we left, we noticed there was a $2 charge for each person for chips. And, the “side of chips” consisted of about five potato chips.
Then, we tried to order my daughter a “croiss’ham’wich” which is ham, cheese, and egg on a croissant. We were told they were out and couldn’t make it. Yet, miraculously, they could create the exact same thing by modifying a house breakfast sandwich with ham and a croissant (for an additional charge, of course).
All that, and the “poached” eggs on toast were basically hard-boiled.
I would not recommend this place as they lie about their prices, and their food isn’t that good.

I love everything about Common good and their breakfast. Their bread is just as delicious. I am not a big fan of their lunch sandwhiches, but thats ok because a croissant-which is all I need in life. I will be a customer for a long time. The bread club is pretty neat too.

Absolutely delicious and cozy bakery. I've been coming here regularly all winter to do remote work, and they keep improving the menu and experience. The staff are very friendly and kind. As a bonus, it smells AMAZING in here and the afternoon sunlight looks so good.

Grilled Cheese and Mushroom Panini
Two pizzas were very good. Three pastas were not good at all. Service was not good. We had to get up and find our server after waiting over 10 minutes to be greeted. They only had two front of house staff for the whole place. I think the fact that they were busy and understaffed are primary reasons for our poor overall experience. Overall the food overpriced as well even if the food pastas were good. Thankfully they did take one pasta off of our tab. Alfredo noodles were not even fully cooked. Tasted like buttered noodles except it was $15 without any protein. The staff were nice, just not prepared to be busy on a Saturday night in December. We may try it again next time we visit TC.
