Had a family dinner last week at this seafood restaurant. It’s CNY season where all the crowds are there. The foods we ordered there taste so so. Within the dishes which we had ordered (Ard 6 dishes), I would say only the salted egg fried sotong worth our try. The kam heong crabs are definitely not good as it smells weird. Even their signature coconut tomyum is not as delicious as mentioned within social media. Really an overrated dish over there not to mention the price also quite expensive. For those who see this comment you all can get better seafood restaurant within Klang. This chinese seafood restaurant is situated deep inside some industrial area in Kg Teluk Gong. Ambience : ☆☆☆ The restaurant area is big and can accommodate huge crowds. They have huts for a group of 8 ppl to dine in. Surrounding area provided the village kinda feeling. Food & Beverage : ☆☆☆☆ This place has a huge variety of dishes. They serve seafood, chicken, tofu, vegetables, etc You may also request fresh toddy (palm wine). Service : ☆☆☆ Most of their serving staff are foreigners. I think language might be a barrier as i found communicating with them a bit challenging. It was difficult to get their attention when we would like to request additional orders or condiments. Price : ☆☆☆ Surprisingly, the price here seems almost similar to those in PJ or KL area. It was a unique experience away from the city. Its a bit of a drive out from KL but the food here is awesome! Visited off hours at 4pm and the place was empty which was good and the food came out instantly. Ordered Signature Kam Hiong crab which was delicious, the right amount of sauce and the crab was juicy. Tomyum shrimp was good, but I felt I could've gotten something else to really taste the fresh shrimp. Butter prawn was awesome, the salty crispy topping made the perfect combination with the shrimps. The clams were good too, and even with small portion the portions were generous.
