The waiter I had introduced himself and shook my hand before taking my order. That kind of service is almost unheard of this day in age. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Stopped for an early dinner. The chips were stale. The salsa and queso was bland. I ordered the deluxe platter. A tamale, cheese enchilada, queso puff, beef taco, rice and beans. Tasted like typical Tex-mex. The rice was leftover from lunch. Had hard crunchy bits in it. The puff and taco used the same bowl shell. Which made for a hard to eat taco. The guacamole was weird. Usually queso puffs are a thinner shell. The service was good, but the food has to be good also. I am guessing this place has a high rating since it is in a small town. Had dinner here tonight with a friend for the first time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The salsa is ok. I ordered hard tacos, and they brought out what looks like 3 small taco bowls. They were pretty good and will definitely order that again. I usually order crispy tacos as my first meal at Tex-Mex restaurants and have found that if they get this right, then the rest of the food they make is good. We shall see. Came by with the family and had a variety of options the food was great with the exception of the kids menu. Chicken tenders came out really dry but they definitely made up for it. However, staff and customer service is where this place shines. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. They sometimes had additional staff come by just to check on our food and kept our drinks full which was amazing! These shrimp 🍤 we small there weren't that many of them barely any avocado, I got charged 12$ for this and then they served it too me with like 5 packs of crakers , I ender up having to hunt down the waitor for more crackers ... it was a bad experience 😔 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

I love this place. Antonio is always our server. My margarita is at the table almost before I can sit down. Food is fresh and hot. All the servers and staff are very happy and professional. Yuck. Tasteless fajitas. Tasteless beans. The omelet was simply minced up scrambled eggs. Yuck. When we first arrived we were very warmly greeted but that was the only positive part of this dining experience. If we hadn’t been so hungry we would not have eaten our food. We were not familiar with area so had no idea. Don’t waste your time or money. The area near the restrooms stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Total yuck. Terrible. Waste of time & money. The food and service can be good, unfortunately it’s not consistently that case. Sometimes chicken fajitas are overcooked, onions under cooked. It has potential to be very good with changes. Took around 25 minutes today to get food ordered. Salsa is very good, but in experience waitstaff doesn’t listen well consistently as well. Again, it can be very good, but unfortunately it’s hit and miss.
