Our family was in town for the day and getting hungry. So, I used trusty Google Maps to find a bakery and came across this gem. Not just a bakery, but a café too. Great food, plenty of savoury and sweet on offer. Good coffee also.
Very much Italian style food with a quirky café.
Great service, too.

The Longdog
A quality cafe. We got the berry custard crumble pie, almond croissant, and the vege/vegan ciabatta. While the food was satisfactory, the croissant and ciabatta could have benefited from being toasted/warmed up. The coffee was good and the staff were friendly.
The atmosphere was the most confusing part of this place. It has plenty of seating and many large tables, which is a huge plus of this place. But the decor and music left me wondering what they were going for. Lots of decor that doesn’t seem to match, asymmetrical rooms, doorways, and tables, and the music was light Christmas instrumental while we were there.
Overall it was a fine place to have a bite and a coffee, but it wasn’t my favorite. Definitely a great place to go if you have a large group as there is plenty of seating to accommodate.

Quality products, very nice atmosphere and happy people runs the place!!!!
The breaking and the Reuben are fantastic, the Pretzel is outstanding and they have a bread and jellies platter which is enough for 4 persons.
We loved the place!!

Good, cozy place for a quick bite but not heaps of food options though. Banoffee coffee was served warm not hot. It’s very busy during the weekends, has heaps of tables & chairs and an outdoor table available if you’ve got pets to bring along. I find the food taste average to my liking, but they’ve got good cronuts.

Banoffee Coffee
Out of the many places in Rotorua we visited here multiple times during our trip here. It was great for breakfast where we got a ‘brekkie’ and the pastries at the front are also really nice. The cronuts are amazing! The coffee is nice too. All the staff were nice and the prices were fare too. Great place!

Incredible! Brilliant food, plugs for charging, lovely staff. They give excess food to a food bank. Little hot inside so be aware. They even have a shower but ask before as we didn't use it.
Imagine reaching to a cafe that closes in 7-8 minutes and they still offer to serve and let you sit on the cute corner you loved in the cafe.
Super friendly staff, top notch food , if you are in Rotorua this is a must visit cafe. The food, ambience, service and it was yum.
We tried Lammie and couple of other food options, coffees and a donut. Ordered the last donut at 1.59pm.
Kudos to the staff and the management, we are definitely coming back next time we visit from Christchurch ❤️
