Food didn't stole my heart, it was not very expensive, white wine was good, bread was also fresh and nice, but fish and chips wasn't first fresh. Fish was cold and probably made many hours before. For dessert I ate pudding, it was too sweet in my new but for someone else might have been good. Overall the food was having too much sugar and fat. Lovely restaurant, familiar place! Warm welcome and great deal for Portuguese Typical cuisine, I highly recommend a visit, the owners are super stars. You will eat homemade food at an affordable price and ask for more.

Found this gem by wandering in, and wandering back (daily) when traveling through Portugal- family owned and truly a place to get dinner, drinks and chat in Portuguese with kind hearted locals who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I will visit this place every time I am in Guimaraes. Plato del dia is such a great deal, the heaviest pour of vinho verde I've ever seen and smiles that will last me a lifetime. To my friends at Churrasqueira do Toural, Muito Obrigada and ate ja!

Simple and good food, with a cheap daily menu. However, they overcharge on the beer and bread (for four people it was more expensive that one menu)!

The staff were accommodating to my needs as a vegetarian,and although l had already indicated l just wanted the vegetable soup and some bread, ( comes automatically and never free) they didn't try and suggest more dishes until later which would be helpful for another time! However, if another time, l would request fresh bread as l am sure they just pass the same baskets around the customers unless they are Portuguese. Apart from that, location and quality ok.
