Food was Delicious! I had the zoo roll and rock and roll sushi. Started eating before taking pics. Everyone enjoyed their food! The waitress was great! There was a wait but it was well worth it. I guess I hit it on a bad day/time. Everything I had heard said it was good but my salad had wilted lettuce and the bacon was so overcooked it bordered on burnt. There was no bacon flavor let in the meat. The sushi rolls were very dry. I don’t think the chef read the description because it was supposed to have a spicy sauce. The beer was good and service was okay, but the food was mediocre at best. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We love eating at Chucks. It’s a great place for special celebrations or date nights. I am a big sushi lover but there is something on the menu for everyone. They have really great steaks and pizzas as well. Only thing that could use improvement is the bar drinks. They have been hit or miss each time we come. Servers are very attentive and friendly. One of the uber driver recommended this place to me. It was wroth it. Their food was so good. I got rolls and fish of day which was sword. Roll was amazing. Pineapple cocktail was nice too. This restaurant was highly recommended by people I talked to around the city. The reason for the 4 stars for service is it took almost an hour to get our food after we ordered and the appetizer came with our food. If the server had communicated a reason for the delay, it would not have been so bad. Overall, the experience was great and I enjoyed the shrimp and chorizo fettuccine. We don't come here very often because it is expensive. 100 bucks for 2 people. That beings said, it is well worth it. Our waitress was training and she seemed like a natural. Did not need any help from her trainer. We the uptown shrimp which is amazing. We got the hot honey pizza and the Destin sushi. All really good. One of the bathroom stalls was filthy and I let them know and it was cleaned immediately. Service was impeccable and they were extremely busy on this Saturday night. The red snapper was flaky and juicy, and the grit cake was light and went perfectly with the snapper. The Zoo sushi roll was light and the perfect temperature. Most places serve their sushi too cold, but this was absolute spot on. We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary here. The hostess, the bartender, and the server took great care of us! The appletini was perfect as well. I will have a hard time going anywhere else in Tuscaloosa for a meal like this again. Outstanding food and attentive service in a setting of beautiful decor with a festive atmosphere. The Spicy Seared Ahi Tuna was prepared to perfection and is highly recommended. The Focaccia Flat Bread appetizer and the Bread Pudding dessert were very enjoyable. Chuck’s Fish is located downtown Tuscaloosa and is one of my favorite restaurants in Tuscaloosa. The food is always fresh and the service is always great. If you have a large party I would come early if you don’t want to wait. If it’s game day you definitely need to plan ahead. The sushi is great, actually some of the best. There pizzas are also excellent. It’s all great!

Incredible service, every worked I interacted with was very kind. Top notch food, great portions at the price. Knowledgeable staff too, they helped ensure I could eat with a dairy allergy and be safe.
