Ordered delivery, waited an hour like they said, got a call from delivery person saying our order was not at restaurant. We called them and they said our order was given away on accident and we would have to order again and wait another hour. Then I tried to tell them I wanted a refund and they hung up on me. I will say I absolutely love Chinese food. But this time I had some food that was not edible.. had some extremely hard rice. And the chicken was definitely not good at all. The crab cheese was not anything crab. Just cream cheese. Our meals were subpar Food: 2 Atmosphere: 1

got the almond chicken was a lot of food for the price but not much chicken with the batter I like almond chicken cut in big strips so you can peel some of the batter and just eat the chicken can't do that with almond chicken

Ordered from here last night, first time in awhile. Food was very tasty - some of best hot-n-sour soup I've had. Both mine and my wife's entrees were very good - very flavorful. I wondered if there were a recent ownership change and a little digging verified this. If you haven't ordered from here in awhile, give it a try and you likely will be pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be regulars going forward.

The best Chinese food that I've ever had. The portions are large. If you want great tasting Chinese food, China Star is the place. Plenty of parking in the Kroger's plaza at Sterns and Secor. Have eaten here a few times over the years. Each of the last two weeks I ordered Mongolian Beef to go and it was delicious. I asked for the meat to be cooked well done and it was perfect. The portions are big, I get dinner and lunch the next day from one meal. The gal taking orders and collecting money could be much more consumer friendly but that doesn't change how good the food is or make me think of anything less than a 5 Star.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered Tai Chien Chicken.... what I received was more like sweet and sour chicken. I have had this dish at other places and never the sauce that was used here. I arrived within 15 minutes as requested and when I got the dish home I had to warm it in the microwave. First time at China Star,,,, doubtful if I would return
