We were seated right away. Our server was very nice. My husband enjoyed the beer selection. The cocktail menu was nice. My friends got the prime rib & the Cajun chicken sandwich, both of which were very good. I got the beer cheese soup & a chicken Caesar salad, both were good. The fried green beans were a little burnt but still good. Very good entree portions. I've also had the fish fry & it was very good. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I found a great place for plate & brew. Everything tasted homemade. Oshkosh has a good one here. Food, service, drinks & hometown feel. If we lived closer we would be there more often. Thank you for the quality experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chester V’s is one of those places for the “Old Fashioned Passport.” The flavor profile was particularly noteworthy as it was a short double. The cheese curds taste similar to Milwaukee Burger Company. The cheese curds are adequate, but likewise, nothing to brag about; they are a 6/10. Indexed in the same rating as Culver’s and Milwaukee Burger Company’s cheese curds. It's a frequented destination for those new to the area and a typical dwelling for the local patrons. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is exemplary at their jobs. Keep in mind that it may be a bit too noisy due to the acoustics from the layout of the building if you come in high traffic times, as sound travels across the elongated bar/dining area exceptionally well. Just tried them for restaurant week and man it was good. Had a Rúben, baked beans, coleslaw, and a Guiness stout & spotted cow to wash it all down. Excellent flavor with it all. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The patio area is nice and dog friendly which is great!! Took awhile to get our food. I ordered the Pulled Pork Benedict, eggs were hard, so disappointing, hollandaise was broke and weird looking. My husband got the Monte Cristo Waffle Sandwhich, nothing to write home about. This was our third visit and each time we've left unimpressed. Won't be back anytime soon.

The worst Eggs Benedict I have ever had - which is saying a lot! The hashbrowns were cold, limp and soggy. The English Muffin was so burnt it could barely be cut. The staff were yelling and swearing throughout the restaurant, very unprofessional. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Awesome food at great proportions, pancakes were the size of a large plate! Apart from this, we ordered bottomless mimosas which were very delicious. Our server allowed us to try different varieties and flavors. She was amazing and attentive. In addition, the decor of the restaurant was interesting and neat. Overall, a great restaurant that I'll more than likely be returning to to try everything they have to offer.
